tablets do work
These tablets do work very well. Others who have not had any luck with them may have the same problem I had originally before I was told about this product by my repairman. Since I have an extended service policy on my set, I called to have the smell checked out. The service tech. opened the front of the washer and found several baby socks stuck in the drain trap. Always wondered where those disappeared to. Any small items must be washed in a net-bag to keep them from slipping between the barrel and the gasket at the front of the barrel (vibrating during cycles can allow small items to be squeezed through). The socks smelled horrible! If this is the reason for the smell, then bleach would be a temporary cure.

My Bosch Washer and Dryer (HE) have been the best investment by far, but one mishap of leaving a wet load inside the washer prior to a week vacation, left a strong odor that would not go away. I was prepared to use all three tablets of the Affresh, but it only required one. The odor is completely gone and I am VERY happy with this product.It did go against my thrifty nature to run an empty hot-water load, but that is what the directions read and it is a key component to successfully getting rid of the odor.

They Really Work
Our front opening washer is wonderful - but over time, towels and sheets began to come out with a musty oder. The reason was a dirty ruber gasket. Since using the Affresh product that smell has gone away completely. Everytime I use it (monthly) it comes away with a layer of dirt that you would normally not even know exists. I strongly recommend this product for anyone with a front load washer!

actually works!
much to my surprise this product does actually work. It was a shot in the dark that I bought it becuase my 1 year old HE washer STINKS! I ran two of the three tablets with success. I do think it is a little pricey for the product but aside from that I am very satisfied. I will be using this monthly to ensure the stink doesn't take over again!

Cleans like no other -
I've tried other dishwasher cleaners and nothing compares to this. You do have to use 2 tablets at a time so this package contains 3 month supply of cleaner and at this price, you can't beat that. This does have a strong citrus smell in the package, but leaves a pleasant hint after use. Will definitely be purchasing again in 3 months.

Works better than other products
I've tried several different products for cleaning the disposal. This is my first product for cleaning the dishwasher. This product worked well for both. My only complaint would be that after using the product, this nice new smell was evident inside the drinking cups after subsequent washings; however, the yucky smell is not. My top preference would be to have the cups free of any odor.

Product is saving me $300 in repairs
My towels started smelling strange a few months ago. I tried using hotter wash water, smaller loads, and longer drying times. Nothing helped. I finally had my trusted appliance repair guy come take a look. My 7 year old Maytag front loader, with its water efficient set up, had soap residue clogging the water disposal area of the washer.Bacteria in the residue was causing the slight smell on my towels. My repair guy said this problem usually isn't caught until the water pump finallly gives out. We caught my problem early enough, that there has been no damage to the machine, just the smell. Repair Guy told me to get Affresh and use 3 of the tablets in 3 hot water wash cycles in the machine, just as package directions explain.He also explained getting that soap residue cleaned out of the washer would save me between $150-$300 in repair costs if he had to manually clean out the residue, which hardens like teeth plague. It works!
I have a Frigidaire HE front-loader, that is about three years old. It had some build-up and residue inside, and a stale odor. I used as directed, three tablets consecutively and use the grip cloth to clear the residue left behind. And the results are fantastic, the silver drum inside is sparkling clean, and smells great. It cleaned out the residue in the rubber seal part too. Just one tablet per month = a very efficient, clean washing machine for many years. Great product, works well. Optimized for HE washers, as I noticed a few people indicated they had standard ones.
