great little amp - UPDATE - August 2011
This is a sweet little stereo amp based on T-amp chip technology. It is clean and powerful for its size. It comes with a wall wart power supply, but could also be battery powered if one desired. There are input connections in stereo RCA jacks and a 1/8 inch (3.5mm) stereo plug for mp3 players, CD players, video players, etc.There is an actual power switch instead of a pot-based switch as on similar models previously offered by Sonic. There are also Bass and Treble controls, which can be quite handy in tailoring the sound a bit to the speakers and space.I am using these for small PA applications and for desktop computer sound. I have plans to create a small guitar amp setup as well. I have used 6 of these in my "day job" and was so impressed I started buying them for home.I have driven spot monitors like Carvin PM5-Bs and even JBL 10 inch 3-way studio monitors with these and similar amps, and they work very well, especially for small areas. Astonishing
Currently running Pandora via Netflix, through this box, into old Dalhquist speakers.Sound is simply astonishing. No distortion, strong warm base, a little muddled in the middle (but hey, it cost less than $20 on Amazon), runs cool, very loud at 1/4 volume.I'm a techie, having build many amps over the past 30 years, including tube amps (Dynaco 70).- There are plenty of amps that cost 10x this, which don't come close in terms of sound quality.This is my first review.

Miracle!
The outside quality is adequate. The sound is full and balanced with a wide range. I didn't expect that the lows could be so strong and deep from such a tiny closed aluminum box (still cool with running for a long time, say one hour from my impression) costing only about $25 with shipping and handling charges. It's a miracle! When the volume is up to 2/3, there is still no discernable distortion. The 3.5mm input jack is extremely convenient for you to connect almost every audio source.The only weakness to date is that there is a noise (not big though) when I shut down the power, even if I turn down the volume to zero.In a word, this product is almost perfect for its purpose, especially when you take its size and price into account. If you need a simple and compact stereo, buy it ASAP, since the price could go up soon, and since you'll be most likely impressed.

Best upgrade I've made..Went from the E5 to the E6
This little guy packs a nice punch. With different 4 setting..all of them useful..This is the perfect little portable amp. The price/value ratio on this cannot be beat..nor does anything come close1st setting is flat EQ with a nice clean boost..Very crisp..(no light on amp)2nd stetting is an EQ boost in the lower freq. range(BASS Boost) (red light on amp)3rd Setting is an EQ boost in the mid freq. range(my favorite)--This really makes the music shine..and I'm a Bass head (blue light on amp)4th setting is a LOP setting with a 3dB reduction across the whole frequency range.(purple light on amp)--This is used for high input sources..But the E6 can handle up to 2v input without having to use this as I understand..I don't need to use this with my Sansa Fuze, but if i do it provides a very warm balanced output..But I like as It LOUD AS IT CAN GO!!I make use of all these settings and it's fun the try them all during songs to see...

Won't listen without it again.
I absolutely love this little sonic wonder! I am new to headphone amps. I just recently purchased a Grado SR80i headphone set, and noticed the Fiio E5 was listed as something people purchased with several of the headphones I was researching. So, I started to research the Fiio E5 and found out it was just recently upgraded to the E6. Once I saw the price of the E6 and that it was a new version of the E5 I had to purchase it with my Grados. There are several things that make the E6 better than the E5, that I learned from researching them. Most notably the sound. The E6 is also shielded better from interference from cell phones and wi-fi(which may be why Fiio chose a plastic casing for the E6). The E6 has, along with the regular setting, 3 more EQ options. Also, the E6 has a hold switch and the volume button isn't in the way of one of the input/output ports like on the E5. The clip is also removable so you can bundle the amp with your portable player if you wish...

Wonderful little amp
After doing some basic research on headphone amps, I decided I wanted something modern, small, and with a great value-to-price ratio. Before this even had any reviews I knew the E6 looked like a great choice. Having never owned a headphone amp before, it took me a while to get used to it. It's really simple actually.There are volume controls one one side, and a switch on the other.When you hold the switch for a few seconds, this turns the amp on. It should have a blue light on in the corner. There's another hole on the back that has a light as well. This shows you what equalizer is selected. I usually don't use the equalizer, but instead just use the flat default settings (no light). Hold the switch for a few seconds again to turn it off. A red light in the corner means the amp is charging.The E6 comes with 3 cables. Two 3.5mm cables (one being a right angle cable) and a usb charging cable.Do you need this amp? I'm blown away
I'm a musician and singer/songwriter who has recorded in home studios of varying quality and price for years. I currently have a Pro Tools setup on my main music computer but I bought the Yeti Pro because I wanted an easy, portable solution to use with Garageband on my laptop in order to record parts with other musicians on various songs. I have to confess I was skeptical about the quality of a USB mic, but after using it tonight, I may not ever go back to my analog mics. I recorded vocals and acoustic guitar directly from the mic to my laptop with no preamp and the sound is crisp, clear, and brilliant, and captures the nuance in my vocal performance as well over the complete spectrum.* It's also heavy and solid feeling, and gorgeous to boot. If you don't need a professional recording, this mic is probably pricey and not necessary. But for professional podcasters and particularly recording musicians, I can't recommend this mic more, and it's a steal at this price.PS...

This is a fantastic microphone
A lot of people might look at the price of this microphone and get put off, but they'd make a mistake in doing so. If you are a musician, podcaster, or simply looking for great quality for your vocals, instruments, or whatever sound you want captured, the Blue Yeti Pro will more than do the job.I'd like to start out by saying the sound quality on this microphone is simply amazing. It easily dwarfs any other USB mic before it, and can even compete with some professional condenser studio mics made by Neumann or Rodes. It's hard to believe this mic is an improvement from the original Yeti, but it is, and by at least 4 times, based on my personal estimation. For $250 this mic can't be beat. You get features in this mic you'd need at least 5 mics for. Oh, and did I mention it's also an audio interface that plays back at a 24-bit, 192khz sampling rate through the headphone port? Almost Perfect.
This is the best USB mic ever made. The quality is outstanding. Some people say it doesnt sound any different then the orginal Yeti, and I thought that too when I first used it. But then I went to my Mic settings (on Win 7) and I found out the mic was being limited to 48Hz 16 Bit ! I quickly changed it to 96Hz 24 Bit and the difference hit me. It sounds perfect, the exact way my voice sounds. The only thing I dont like is that u need other software for it to work. So I can't just bring it to all my frinds' house and just plug it in to use it. But it is an exceptional mic. If you have the money I highly recommend it.

It is what it is
For years I enjoyed listening to CDs at the gym with a pair of 32Ohm Sennheiser EH-150's and a 15mW Sony DNE-330 Walkman (with customizable paremetric EQ). a bit of needed help for iPod with hi-end headphones
I give this little amp 4 stars -- I bought it for use with my iPod Nano 5g and Sennheiser HD600 headphones. The built-in amp in the iPod is **just** a bit inadequate to drive these headphones well -- on some albums I needed to crank the volume up all the way, and sometimes that still didn't give me enough volume.For $20 plus shipping, I figured I'd give the FiiO a try. If it didn't work, just return it, right? So it came today, and I gave it a try with some of the problematic tracks on my iPod. First reactions: enough volume boost (barely, but enough) to make the problem tracks listenable, and to drive the HD600's to more than comfortable levels on most music. I have the volume on the E5 turned up all the way, and use the touch-wheel on the iPod for volume control.Second, despite some other reviews here and elsewhere, there is NO discernable hiss or noise from the FiiO E5, either idle or with music playing.Third: Bass boost works as...

There's not much to say about this speaker cable except that it works as advertised. This was the perfect amount to configure a 5.1 setup in my small living room. The cable is thick (definitely appears to be 16-Gauge) and it works. No complaints, especially for the price.

Best Turntable At This Price
You really can't get a better turntable for this price. It wasn't broken or cracked when it arrived, it was easy to assemble, and it sounds great. For under 100 bucks that is more than I expected. The other cool thing about this turntable that is not in the description is that it's easily upgradeable. The turntable comes with a ATN3600L stylus. You can replace that stylus with the ATN3600DLX stylus for even better sound quality and performance. You can also get a better belt for it too but I haven't looked into that yet. It's not going to get any better than this until you hit about the $300 range.

Super Sound, Really Impressed!
I needed to replace my year-old Sony so I was pretty discouraged when I started my search. I was pretty much settled on the Pioneer and was researching reviews on the net when I stumbled on the Audio Technica AT-PL60 reviews that were so positive. So I switched and researched the PL-60 and decided to buy. Don't let the low price scare you off! It Sounds way better than my Sony which cost three times as much. It took two minutes to set up to my system and my vinyl came to life again! Family, Love and the Electric Prunes never sounded so good! I would Highly agree with the other reviewers that this is the best turntable under $300!

Good purchase for the money
I bought this when the stylus on my old Soundesign turntable and saw that for $20 more than buying a new stylus, I could upgrade to a better record player. The player itself has 2 settings for autostart" 7" and 12" which covers most of my records. Unfortunately, there is no 10 setting. There are also only 2 speeds: 33.3 and 45 RPM. No 78 RPM setting, so older records will not play on this turntable. Sound-wise, this record player is a big improvement over the player I was using before. Unless a record is very scratched up, you will not hear crackling when using this turntable. Overall, if you want an inexpensive turntable you can't go wrong here. This is definitely the best turntable in its price range.
