Very easy to put together, appealing looks
I don't know much about how it lasts, but it is easy to assemble andgood looking. However, of the two I ordered one arrived with every partbroken, so do be sure to check for damage right away. As usual I wasreally glad I ordered from Amzn with their fantastic return policies.A note on the dimensions, while it says that the width is 59", almost 5 feetit would actually fit about a 3 to 3 1/2 foot pathway -- they are includingthe width of the arch.

Much better than I thought
I received this arch and promptly assembled it (not very hard). I found the quality to be much better than I thought, especially at this price. We are having vines covering it so in a couple of years we won't even see it, but if we did I found it very attractive just by itself.I don't think I have ever seen an arch/arbor at my local stores that is this good of a value (free shipping too).I think any gardener would find this an excellent bargin.

This arbor is GREEN not BLACK!!!
I really thought it looked black in the picture and was extremely shocked and angry when I opened the box and discovered it was green! I contacted the seller and they were willing to give me a full refund - they were truly wonderful about it - but since my husband liked it, I went ahead and put it together for our backyard. It was very easy to put together (did it myself) and it looks great. I also got the gate with it. Excellent deal for the money. It's been up for about 5 months and I've noticed the latch on the gate has rusted a bit, so I hope it makes it through the winter. We actually use it to keep our dog from another part of our yard, so it's functional and beautiful. I highly recommend this gate (though beware it is not black) because of the great quality for the price and the very helpful & prompt response I experienced with the seller.

green for greenery
It's far too early for this trellis to be covered with vines, but I can picture it...I used the muddy melt time to install it in the part of my yard where it acts as a door from the side yard to the back, and it is impressive.It went together easily (one glitch was that I didn't notice that the anchors had screw holes on only two, and not four sides) and seems to be sturdy against everything Chicago winds have sent its way so far.As one reviewer said, it is definitely quite green. This does not bother me, but someone who is matching irons or prefers black should know: it is not a subtle green, either.I am really glad I bought it, and will consider whether I will add the doors that are available as an extra purchase, once I see how the garden grows!

rust after one month
After only one month of assembly and placment in the yard some of the screws have started to rust. I can only imagine what will happen after a winter. For an outdoors item where exposure to the elements is inherent there is not reason why nonrusting screws, etc, are not used.

Great looking arbor immediately transformed the yard
The minute we put this at the beginning of a path in our yard it transformed the yard and gave it structure. Walking through the arbor made you feel you were entering something different even though it was just a simple wooden arch. We cemented the 4 posts into the ground which in our case is hard & rocky. We then concealed the concrete with pearock which covers the surface of our path. My husband is 6ft and he clears the arbor with about 6 inches to spare as we had to imbed about 6-8 inches in the ground. We planted a confederate jasmine on one side and plan to train it to grow up and over to the other side. The color is the color of cherry wood (it is NOT cherry wood) and I think it will fade to a grey-ish brown like some of my other outdoor products made of the same wood. That color will look better in the yard which has a lot of native plants in it. This is a great arbor for the price (under $80) and I am very happy with the quality of it.

nice but mislabeled or dishonestly labeled
Nice cedar arch especially for the price, went together without real difficulty, screws a bit cheap and I replaced/added a few stainless steel ones, sturdy once well screwed-together and staked (though I didn't go as far a pouring cement as suggested in instructions). Here's the weird thing: This "Greenstone Natural Garden Arch" is actually a "Four Seasons Arch" made in China; Amazon claims it's Greenstone, and the label on the shipping box says Greenstone, but you open it up and it's Four Seasons. And zero mention of the wood coming from managed forests, making Amazon's claim "the wood comes from forests that are carefully managed and reforested for future generations" suspect, and since it comes from China I'm even more suspicious about the wood. The Greenstone website (greenstonewholesale.com) does not list this arch among their arches, and all their cedar arches are at a much higher price point. But this Four Seasons Arch is definitely the arch Amazon is selling--it's IDENTICAL...

Great Wedding Arbor
I purchase this arbor for my daughter's wedding. As stated in previous reviews, the arbor is only primed and needs a good coat of paint. I painted two coats of exterior white enamel paint. A bit of work but well worth it. Make sure you plan ahead if you need it by a certain date. Shipping was great, no problems or broken pieces. Very straight forward to put together, directions are fine.

Poor Quality Control
This is a well designed product that is easy to assemble. The smaller wood pieces, however, that form the lattice work on the sides were of poor quality and were not carefully nailed. It looks like someone nailed these pieces on in a hurry and the factory quality control (if they even have that that) missed it before it got boxed. The finish on the product also was poorly and sparsely applied - I had to paint the whole thing.

Excellent for growing vining plants...
I don't typically buy things without reviews on Amazon...but I risked it! I purchased this trellis for a specific purpose...to grow green beans on it. I assembled it on my own in about 10-15 minutes. I was overwhelmed when I saw the amount of parts and screws, but it was very simple once I got going. I did not need help doing it. It comes in a smaller box than I expected. It is VERY lightweight. For my purpose, this was fine. The bottom 4 legs have little removable plastic stoppers...probably because they assume you will sit it upright right on top of the ground. I will tell you that you will NOT be able to do that. The metal is a little flimsy, and so I removed the stoppers and then pushed it into the ground about 6 inches. I had to lose some height this way, but it looked better, and was more sturdy. Once assembled it looked cock-eyed which is why I rated it 4 stars. But like I said, driving it into the ground about 6 inches straightened it up and i looks fine. It's...

Flimsy, yes, but functional at a great price.
Before I bought this item, there were no reviews on it so I went directly to the seller's website for reviews. Most of them were ok so I decided to risk it and purchased the item via Amazon. Very fast shipping; it arrived in about 3 days! I also thought there were too many pieces but as I started the project, it went together very fast. I had it together in about 20 min. I have this pushed into the ground as there are not stakes to hold it upright which is fine because we can still walk through it. I am going to try a hyacinth bead pod plant on it and see how it goes. If you are thinking about getting it, just do it. I liked it once it was set up. Very cute.
