Very Capable Unit!
I use this with Ambiloop (get it! it's free and it's awesome!) to control basic volume, pan, FX enable, FX send for all eight tracks, and I've recently changed from Energy-XT to Reaper for my DAW needs.I use a little NanoKontrol for Reaper's volume and pan, record-enable, etc and the BCR2000 for Bass, Mid, Treble, Mute, Solo, that kind of thing for eight tracks. The EQ is in a VST plugin so I can confirm that the unit can control VST parameters easily. It's a very welcome change from mousing all over the place and a great setup. I've saved my default project to load everything I need at startup and I go from there.Energy-XT (the free software from Behringer) (at the time of writing) seems to have taken a crap on itself regarding MIDI control (the official support forum is busy with complaints following a couple of recent "upgrades"), so I've switched completely from it, although version 2.5 had pretty good interaction with the BCR2000. Shame, because I'm a...

Does a lot!
I'm very happy with this device, it is highly programmable without any special software. It took about 5 minutes out-of-the-box for me to plug it into two different table top synths and start controlling hidden parameters on their sound, it really is easy if you're willing to read two manuals side-by-side to set it up. And usually one of the presets layouts is good enough for a starting point. It can also record and play back short MIDI commands allowing for even further flexibility. It can be configured to route USB to MIDI in different ways, I use it as my main MIDI controller with my laptop. I like the feel of the 24 rotaries on the bottom part of the unit the best, but the 8 rotaries on the top are push-button so they are more versatile. I think the things I would change on this device is make all the rotaries smooth feeling but also make them push buttons and provide a small character display instead of 7-segment LED display to ease programming. I would pay extra if they offered...

Well made and very cool MIDI controller!
I bought the Behringer BCR2000 to control the Korg iMS-20 analog synth program on my iPad. Let me say, that it works beautifully! I am so pleased with my purchase of the BCR2000! It was very easy to set up all the controls of the iMS-20 and the BCR2000 works flawlessly and delivers as promised. I am able to control every available setting of the iMS-20 application and it's very cool to turn an encoder on the BCR2000 and see the virtual knobs turning on the iMS-20 app on my iPad!I spent a lot of time thinking about the best configuration to use to mirror the iMS-20 on the BCR2000. Actually, the configuration of the encoders on the Behringer and the configuration of the virtual knobs on the iMS-20 are almost identical so I only needed to make a few modifications. I also set up a separate preset for the mixer which comes with the iMS-20. This process was made easier because the BCR2000 allows you to set up each encoder or button for any MIDI channel you like.In...

Works with Protools 8
This unit was very easy to set up with PT 8. I googled instructions on how to switch it to baby HUI mode, with in 1 minute PT worked seamlessly with it. Ridiculous low cost and no hassle... this is a no brainer. The transport options are Play and Stop, not really sure if you can assign a REC button, but I bet you can. I love the mute/solo and pan feature. Panning with a mouse stinks. Very small, not bus powered FYI.

The B-CONTROL is an extremely flexible control surface suitable for a wide array of applications. Regardless of whether you want to intuitively control your sequencer software with mixers, plug-ins and virtual instruments, or if you wish to use its broad MIDI functions for controlling rack synthesizers, general MIDI sound generators or effect processors, the B-CONTROL offers you tremendous ease of use that leaves no wishes open.

Hardware Enhancement for Your Digital Workflow
Bridging the gap of the analog/digital divide, the BCF2000 gives you command over your virtual gear in programs like Cubase, Cakewalk, Logic Audio, Ableton, and a multitude of other major audio software apps. While software-based music creation has done much to eliminate the bulky inconvenience of hardware rigs, it has left a void in the realm of tactile, real-time control. It is this void that the BCF2000 fills with style.

All Hands on Deck
The BCF2000 is an innovative, hands-on control surface with ultra-precise 100-mm motorized faders for the ultimate control of virtual mixers, organ-drawbars, synths and samplers. You can make coordinated simultaneous fades that can't be performed with a mouse--and the faders are motorized for automated control!

Full-Featured
The BCF2000 is USB compatible and provides full MIDI In/Out/Thru capability. The eight endless rotary encoders, each with a 15-element LED indicator, have a special push-to-set function that allows you to select, adjust and control a myriad of functions.

Assign a dedicated knob, fader or key to your most frequently used functions and make edits without touching the mouse. Tweak "front panel" settings by simply turning a knob or sliding a fader. It's like having the real knobs and faders for every control on the screen.

Get Hooked Up
Simply connect your BCF2000 to your computer via USB. Then assign and control MIDI/audio sequencers, software mixers or virtual synths/plug-ins with real knobs and faders--without using your mouse! You'll spend less time reaching for your mouse and more time enjoying music creation!

energyXT2.5 Compact Behringer Edition Included
If you're ready to take your projects to an even higher level, XT Software's energyXT2.5 is just the trick. This amazing DAW (digital audio workstation) makes it easy to manipulate your audio and MIDI files, turning song ideas into stunning CD or web-ready recordings. energyXT2.5 includes built-in synthesizers, which can be accessed directly via an external controller or programmed by step-write mode. There's even a built-in drum machine and internal multi-FX processor.

Behringer BCF2000 B-Control Fader
This is a great controller, especially for the price. At $179, Amazon offers the best price by far. I am looking forward to using it more to mix.It was very easy to set up. I am running Logic 7 on a Mac Book. I basically plugged it in and set it for "Logic Control".There isn't much documentation with it, but there is a lot of online fans of this device. This guy even posted a step-by-step tutorial on YouTube [...]I only have a few concerns. First, the automated faders are somewhat noisy, particularly with slow fades. They nearly rattle. My second concern is labeling. It would be nice to have a blank paper template for each control setting (i.e. Logic control, Mackie control, etc.)I have been very wary of Behringer products, but I read a lot of positive reviews of the BCF2000. So far, it's been great. Only time will tell, if it warrants a full 5 stars from me.

Can't find a better product in this price range
Took a bit of of web-crawling and work to get it to play nice with Cubase. The documentation is pretty lousy, so if your getting one of these you probably need to know your way around the DAW. Once set up it's been awesome. The faders are nice and responsive, the encoders have a great feel to them and the learning curve is minimal. Print out a few stickers to label the buttons for your use and your good to go, definetly worth it.

Completely changes the experience of working in Live.
I make music for fun. I don't even think I'm very good at it, but I can spend hours and hours making loops, adding layers and sampling stuff on Ableton Live. This product allowed me spend a lot less time using the mouse, specially once I get most of my samples down and want to start stitching things together. I love the lights, feel of the buttons and actually focusing on the music, and the flow of things instead of running with the mouse to activate clips.I have also tried using it as a step sequencer and it's a lot of fun. At the price it's at right now, it's a great option for people like me.

Emulates the Monome 40h at a fifth of the price. Launches Live clips as expected
The launchpad is an elegant and minimal grid of 64 buttons. Unlike the Ableton grid controller, the launchpad's 8x8 grid of buttons makes it a perfect device for emulating the Monome and running any of the many Monome apps. Search for "nonome" and you will find plenty of information on turning the launchpad into a universal grid controller. The only downside seems to be that the Launchpad requires a driver, and that it speaks slow MIDI rather than the faster and more flexible OSC protocol. Given the very low price, it is easy to overlook these compromises.I was also surprised that Novation used a full sized USB-B plug rather than the Mini-B that my Korg and...

For example, parameters on Max for Live's step sequencer can be triggered using Launchpad's buttons. Launchpad gives you a huge amount of visual feedback. Multiple colors and brightnesses across different buttons display visual information about whether the note is on, the velocity, note length, pitch, and whatever else you want to see.

Mostly A Great Clip Launcher
I have owned one of these for four months and have gotten a good grasp of its relative strengths and weaknesses. The Launchpad is a natural extension for Live's Session View. There is just enough visual information implanted on the interface for you to identify clips easily. The User1 User2 modes are great for a few MIDI triggers but lack any serious expression as the pads themselves aren't velocity sensitive. The mixer mode might be useful for some but I never touch it due to the limited resolution of expression and the immediacy required for their proper function (if minimalism is your goal in this department, seek the ). The saving grace, outside of its Session mode, is the user created software. The Launchpad has been transformed into a monome like device, a visual harmonic table, a step...

nanoKONTROL quick overview
Very much worth the price of admission. If you're thinking of buying one of these, you've probably read the specs. So here's what I was wondering before I bought one.Do the knobs and faders feel chintzy ? No, better than I expected. Is it hard to deal with the short-throw faders ? No, surprisingly, it didn't feel odd all, and more accurate than anticipated. Is there much of a delay ? Nope.Is it hard to set-up ? No real learning curve to speak of.Right now I'm using this to control a NI B4 II in Digital Performer. It works fine for that and there's an abundance of faders, knobs, & buttons. The distance between faders may feel a bit odd initially, but it's really nice having the 18 buttons. It'd be nice if it had inputs for a foot pedal & foot switch but I've gotten around that with a Logidy UM13.The unit is quite light and probably shouldn't be thrown across the room or put in the microwave or dishwasher.I've had it for...

You could have more, BUT...
I use this product with ableton live 8, and I love it. Out of the Korg nano series this is the only one I would buy, it is the ONLY one I bought. The keyboard and drum pads are cheap and definetely not worth the money, watch the reviews on YouTube. For the keyboard and drum pads consider Akai products, SERIOUSLY, and watch the Korg/Akai comparison reviews on YouTube. BUT as for the nanokontrol, it is quality, affordable, and portable, so...BUY IT!

Place one of our keyboard controllers in front of your laptop, rest a pad controller on your music workstation, park a studio controller on your recording console--or anywhere else you need versatile control over your DAW, virtual instrument, effect or DJ software. Although small in size, all three nanoSERIES controllers go HUGE when it comes to functionality, yet their intuitive layouts provide extremely easy operation for any user.

nanoKONTROL--The Most Expansive Array of Controls For Its Size--Period
The nanoKONTROL features a plethora of controllers to help you get the most control out of your software for the size and money. nanoKONTROL offers nine faders, nine knobs, 18 switches and a full transport section. For each of the four programmable scenes the nanoKONTROL offers, you can set the controllers any way you need them. That means that you can transmit a total of 168 different MIDI CC (Control Change) messages, as well as MIDI notes with the switches. The six transport buttons can each transmit either MIDI CC messages or MMC messages to control functions such as: start, stop, loop, or record on your DAW software.

Imagine taking full control of your software--transport, a full track's worth of faders, pans and mutes--or how about precise dedicated control over the many parameters of software synths, samplers or virtual drum machines. It's all possible with the nanoKONTROL.

To add to the nanoKONTROL's flexibility, an attack and decay time can be specified for the eighteen switches. This allows you to smoothly feed controller messages into parameters such as wet/dry levels for an effect, a filter for a synth, or a volume fader for that perfect fade.

Easily the best cheap controller on the market
I'm a laptop musician and I've gotten extremely tired of staring at the screen, twiddling virtual knobs one at a time with my mouse. When Korg introduced the nano line, I practically ran to the store to check them out. The nanoKONTROL is almost perfect for my setup, and for under sixty bucks I couldn't walk out without one.First off, this is definitely NOT plug-n-play, but it's a breeze to setup. I use Ableton Live and it immediately recognized the nanoKONTROL and let me assign functions to each button, knob, and slider with no issues at all. It revolutionized my live show because I can suddenly operate multiple faders and trigger multiple audio loops at once, all in a unit that's smaller than a carton of cigarettes. There are only nine fader/knob sets, but you can change 'scenes,' which essentially transposes the controls up to the next bank of nine, effectively giving you 36 fader sets. It even has lights so you can see what's triggered on a dark stage. I've had this for...

Iwata BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I love airbrushing I have been painting for about 10 years! I want to get some cheap brushes with good control and this was the answer wrong Iwata I got 3 of these for changing colors when I paint BOOOOO! These airbrushes spray ugly patterns! Maybe it was just one brush I told myself but no it was all of them! I like a Vega 2000 or a VL much better they have nicer spray pattern better control. I have to say that I want more from Iwata the standard needle size is large but you dont get the nice clean lines that you do out of other brushs in the price range and needle size. I own 3 Vega's and they all are better then this!I think that Iwata should work on there basic airbrush and the BCR is not the way to go! VL or Vega or anything other then this! I have used my Iwata Kustom CS for a year or 2 now and it is a great brush! I feel that the Eclipse HP BCS is the base model of airbrush and they dont need to have the BCR it is a waste of nice chrome. It is never going to be an...
