Far longer wearing than best from Pep Boys, Sherbas, etc.
I highly recommend this brand of brake pads. I do not value high performance, I value getting high mileage. These wear longer than Toyota Sienna original equipment pads which cost 75$, which went 19K miles when they wore out and scratched the rotors, and better than Toyota ceramics that cost 55$ and went about the same distance. Sienna is unusual, the Toyota pads don't last, I got 19K miles on my Toyota pads on '04 Sienna since new, and 90K miles on my '98 Avalon pads, and indefinitely long on Prius pads. These are far longer wearing than any of the brake pads offered for sale that I have purchased from Pep Boys, Sherbas, Autozone, O'Reillies, and others, and I bought their top of the line. Not having to change the brake pads every time I change the oil filter, which is exactly what I had to do with the best of the Pep Boys pads for this vehicle, is nice. Awsome clean braking power!!
If you are looking for brake pads that stop quick from day one, then these are it. I put a set of these on my dodge ram pick up and they worked better than the ceramics I had on previously. I also match them with bendix rotors which seems to be the perfect pair. They are very quiet, no dust so far either, unlike all other pads that ruin your custom wheels. They even brake when they are really wet during down pours from storms. Just get them, you won't be happy til you do.

NOT all brake pads have a wear indicator, although most do. Brake squeal (as distinct from wear indicator scraping) is an acoustic resonance issue. All brake pads have a wear indicator which is what causes the squeal when braking. If you have a bit of a squeal with plenty of mean it either means you need to machine/skim your disc, apply anti-squeal, pads installed the wrong way (some are directional), shim plates missing or installed the wrong way. Bendix pads are pretty good, i used to use the ultimates on my rear pistons with ds3000s on the front for some track use. Just about anything you do to a brake pad will affect its tendency to produce noise.
