Anna Faris discovers a facet of method acting? Yes. Not since Christian Bale muscled up in order to one up Leo DiCaprio for the title role in American Psycho has someone altered their body so very dramatically for a role. The previous soft Anna has been replaced by the T-1000 Anna, hotter than ever, and funnier to boot.As far as goofy comedies go, the writing was good. The plot was cute. The situations were were well-thought out and hilarious.Shelley (Faris) I plays a wanna-be Playboy bunny who is cast from the Playboy Mansion after her 28th birthday. To put a roof over her head she takes a group of social outcast sorority sisters in need of a house mother under her wing and shows them the ropes of presenting themselves and talking to men. When I first heard about this film, I was less than impressed and had no intentions of seeing it. Once, however, I saw the preview at another film, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did."The House Bunny" is a charming and funny little film starring Anna Faris as Shelly, a playboy bunny who lives a carefree life in Hugh Hefner's mansion. After her 27th birthday, she finds herself suddenly evicted from her perfect life, unaware of how she can make a living. When she stumbles onto a college campus and discovers that sororities slightly resemble her former playful lifestyle, she becomes determined to be the house mother of a failing sorority full of misfits and unpopular girls. I liked it
Well, I'm embarrassed to admit that I really enjoyed this silly movie. I hadn't intended to see it, but got pushed into watching it with my family. And I liked it better than they did! It was actually very sweet.The plot, of course, is a cliche. Nerdy sorority is made cool by an ex-bunny. Not original. But it isn't meant to be. This whole thing is just a wonderful frame for the comedic talents of the people involved. We particularly enjoyed the scene where Shelley tries to act like Marilyn Monroe over the steam vent, and gets her knees badly steamed. That is just so silly that you have to laugh.Also, at my house, we just find it so strange that the series "the girls next door," whose performers are in this film (the Faris role, Shelley, is supposed to be living at the Playboy Mansion as the movie opens), is one of the sweetest shows on TV. Season 1
Absolutely amazing. All of my kids just think these are the funniest thing for all ages. They loved them and prefer watching looney tunes over the other shows that they had become accustomed to. Lots of Laughs - DVD 1 is better
Got this one with a Best Buy gift card that I received as a gift for Christmas. Although it was exciting to purchase the DVD, I've mixed emotions...because of the content of Disc II. Let me talk about Disc 1 first. To start off...disc one is great and I laughed & laughed & laughed some more. It's filled with lots of memorable Looney Tunes Favorites...strung together cleverly with a modern story. The major hi-lights from Disc one have to be "Ali Baba Bunny", "Robin Hood Daffy", and "What's Opera, Doc?", although every cartoon is a riot. There are some episodes (cartoons) which our local tv station doesn't play too often...so it's nice to have them in their full length versions with such clarity.On the other hand...Disc 2 is strung together with a very aggravating & annoying modern story, featuring Yosemite Sam & his loud-mouth, bratty nerd of a son. The Chases Are On
It always amazes me with the status of cartoons today. Yet with all the hype, there just is a whole generatiion that not only doesn't appreciate the classics like Disney or MGM with Tom & Jerry, they just ignore it. Yet for this generation, the one biggest cartoon franchise is the looney tunes. Warner Brothers has done a fantastic job the past few years re-releasing cartoons for the highly acclaimed golden collections. Although that has been great, they also have released smaller and more petite editions like the lackluster premire collection and spotlight collection, for people who want the zanyness of Bugs, without all the hassle in price. Cute, but isn't great quality.
I've gone around the iPhone 4 case block quite extensively in search for a sturdy, yet cute, phone case. I ordered this about a week ago and I've only had the case for a couple of days. One of the major problems I noticed is that the bottom hole for the USB plug is cut a little too small and charging my phone with the phone case on is nearly impossible because the thing just falls out since it's unable to be plugged in all the way.Also, today, one of the ears broke off. Note: I don't ever drop my phone and I handle it very carefully. It was in my pocket (ears pointing out) and I walked a few steps and then someone told me the ear was on the ground. Additionally, the case itself feels very slippery and the tail hardly sticks on. Though it was cute while it lasted, I wish I didn't waste my money on such a cheap product. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Love it!
This case is too cute! It came in yesterday (perfect because it was halloween) and i love it! All of my friends think its just too cute. I like how the tail props up my phone so i can read it easier. It falls off somewhat easily. I find its best if you wet the suction cup when you put it on.

Awesome Family Fun!!!
This movie was a lot better than I was expecting. It was heart-warming, and had the right amount of comedy suitable for any age. E.B. was adorable and hilarious. Russell Brand was the perfect choice. E.B.'s dad is retiring and wants his son to continue on and become the new Easter Bunny, but E.B. doesn't want that life. He runs away to Hollywood to start a new life, but is almost run over by a slacker named Fred O'Hare. Fred is having trouble with his family as well. While Fred is house sitting, E.B. decides to crash with him. Back at Easter Island, a chick named Carlos plots to take over the Easter holiday, unless Fred and E.B. can stop him. I highly recommend HOP!!!

Finally, a good animation/live action movie
With films like Yogi Bear, Alvin & The Chipmunks, Scooby Doo, Marmaduke and worst of all Garfield littering the cinescape with dreadful dreck involving live action people and computer animated cartoon animals, I wasn't exactly jumping for joy when I saw the trailers for Hop. In place of a nonsensical farce filled with more rubbish than a fleet of garbage trucks, in Hop we are treated to a whimsical tale with positive messages and loads of good old fashioned fantasy style fun. Anyone who grew up watching Rankin Bass holiday specials on TV will appreciate the classic themes beautifully updated for the modern day in Hop. Usually it works to advantage, occasionally it falls short.The visual landscape and the animation of the characters is startlingly realitic and very quickly has you feeling you're just watching a regular movie where animals really do talk and there really is a secret lair of the easter bunny.Like some other reviewers noted, there is a definite...

FUN MOVIE...
Fun movie. Certainly for kids. It's not in the category of "Despicle me" or "Toy Story-3" (or 1, or 2) but still lots of fun. In the beginning it has a bit of Willy Wonka feel to it, while more to the end, it leans more to Santa. But it's all Easter-bunny power (sorry for the chicks). I liked it better at the beginning, and the middle. Quite some surprise-jokes there. But somewhere before the end, I get the feeling, the makers suddenly realize they need to bring to movie to an end. From that point on everything gets very rushed and quick-paced and to me the movie looses some of it's magic at that point. But still we had lots of fun. Definitely a movie to watch with the (young) kids.
