Nice sized capsules
It's amazing how quickly you can go through a couple of hundred capsules! I use these basically for turmeric and cayenne pepper powder. These are a really nice size and having 750 capsules means not having to worry about running out (after sending out a couple of hundred to friends and relatives). And the price of these on Amazon was much cheaper than what my local health food store is charging. I will totally order these again.

GEL CAPS
Hard to find locally, it was a lifesaver finding these at Amazon. If you have to take Prednisone tablets, you know how bitter they are, and how quickly they melt in your mouth. Placing them in the gel caps is an ideal solution we came up with, and it works!

Save money - fill your own.
I purchased this product and a capsule filler to make my own pills at home using bulk herbs and supplements. So far so good. These capsules work great with the filler and hold a nice size portion so it saves having to swallow so many pills. I recommend putting these capsules in an airtight jar with a dessication package for at least 2 days before attempting to fill them if using a capsule filler (one usually comes with the filler). This dries them out ensuring that they haven't become swollen or sticky from humidity, thereby, messing up your whole process. I think the price has increased a bit since my purchase but when I bought them I found that they were a comparatively good deal. I'm sure I will purchase them again. I use them with vitamin C powder, spirulina, kelp, chlorella, D.E. and bentonite clay, and they worked perfectly for all of these. Some fine powders require more tamping and filling but still work great. Next we're doing garlic powder, cayenne pepper and bee...

They work, plain and simple
I do not use a filling machine with these although I should probably look into one at some point. I blend my own line of supplements for the gym. Some of these mixtures have the most god awful taste, regardless of what I mix them with so I've resorted to capsules. I pre-mix each batch using a digital scale, and then just fold a piece of paper and slide the powder into each pill. Doesn't take long at all.I don't really have anything to compare these capsules to, never purchased any others, but I will say that I've purchased this brand two times now and plan on doing so again in the near future. They are clear in color and seal very tight, you can even run them underneath a faucet and the powder inside the capsule isn't touched by the water.

Great Caps.
These are great caps for the money. A bit large but its ok. I always test all supplements in a glass with a little vinager and warm water to see if the capsules desolve, to memic the stomach juice.If they don't desolve in 10-15 minutes in this mix or in plain water, I am wasting money in purchasing them and I return it for full refund. These capsules desolved quickly and I am pleased with them. So many supplements will not desolve in warm water with vinegar and it is eliminated from the body without being utilized. It trully is a waste of money so please do your homework and test out your newly purchased supplements/caps of any kind. I have a personal experience from this ordeal. I started testing all supplements when after I noticed that I was ELIMINATING the caps/supplement intact. You will be glad you did because then you'll know if you are utilizing them or not. If they don't desolve in water and vinegar, then they are not desolving in your gut.

great valued gel caps
I have a dog that I needed to give a liquid med to. Mixing the med into food/water was not going to work. Then I ran across this product, and it's a God send. It made administering the med much easier. I like the idea that the top and bottom of the gel cap is already assembled, so no searching for matching parts was needed; great value as well. No complaints and I am one happy customer and will reorder these from this vendor as needed.

Misleading title, but it works well
The title is misleading -- you will not be able to sit down with your powder, gel caps, and the machine and end up with 24 filled capsules less than 2 minutes later. Taking out your gel caps, taking them apart, and placing them into the machine will take you at least a couple of minutes itself, maybe longer.Once the caps are in the machine, the 2 minutes is accurate, at least for me.I was filling caps by hand before, and it was no fun. With this, I can put together 48-72 pills while sitting down and watching a 22 minute show on Hulu. That's with being distracted. I've put together around 700 capsules so far, and I've probably only broken 5-7.It's very easy to use, it's a whole lot faster than doing them individually, and it's cheap (as in price, it's fairly well-constructed it seems). The only reason I gave this 4 stars was because their declaration of a less-than-2-minute-fill is misleading. Technically true, but not at all true if you factor...

Does the job well - but takes at least 5 minutes
I think if you were well-practiced and nimble-fingered, you could separate your capsules, load them in this machine, fill them, and close them in about 5 minutes. To do this you would be working very quickly, like an assembly-line worker, and it doesn't account for clean-up time afterward. So yes, it can be done pretty quickly (much faster than individual capsules by hand) but the 2-minute claim is nonsense. But given how cheap this little machine is, it works great.If you don't want to end up wasting too much product - especially very fine powdered material - you'll need to be careful and think things through. I do my capsule filling on a big cookie sheet. After the capsules are closed, I tap them individually on the sheet to let loose powder fall off. No matter how careful you are, the machine itself and tamper will have a fair amount of powder stuck on them, which you'll need to carefully tap off onto the cookie sheet, then collect at the corner. Don't sneeze...
