Finally, a GREAT Travel Mug
I've been using travel mugs for years now and I've had some pretty good ones, but I've never had one that met all my criteria for a well designed travel mug until now. What makes this travel mug so great (and those that have been using travel mugs for a while will understand what I'm talking about) is:- Keeps things HOT: This is travel mug 101, but not everyone does it well. This Thermos mug keeps my coffee hot for hours! Works exceeding well.- Leak-Proof: This is another big one for me and this mug is indeed leak-proof. I filled it up and turned it upside down, shook it, rolled it, you name it, nothing leaked out.- Cleaning: First, it's dishwasher safe; this is more uncommon than you would think. Second, you can take the lid apart to get at all the parts for cleaning so you don't get build-up in hard to reach corners of the lid over time, very nice! [NOTE: Paperwork that came with product said it was dishwasher safe, but on Thermos's web site...

Holy Cow, this is a good mug!!!
I typically pour my coffee around 7:20am and by 8:45 it is ice cold and I never finish it. I have been through countless mugs, but none keep it warm, much less hot, for more than 45 minutes. I have been wanting a mug to keep my coffee hot for most of the morning, but my wife just said I drink it too slow. But along comes this king. WOW! This mug keeps my coffee hot, and I mean piping hot. I have made it to 11:45 with some coffee remaining and it was still very hot. I guess it would stay hot for an hour or two longer, but I never make it that long before I finish it. And the outside of the mug is cool / cold to the touch...you would never know it was hot inside.Additionally, I wasn't really looking for a spill proof mug, but I have found it to be quite handy. Excellent coffee cup!
UPDATE on JAN 27th, 2012:I've used my Copco cup DAILY now for 22 months. No kidding! How the the 1-star rated folks managed to crack their lids or that they complain about leaks is beyond logic. I don't see how either is possible. Perhaps they microwave the lid. That would destroy the rubber seal eventually.UPDATE on NOV 15th, 2010:I've now used this cup EVERY single day since I bought it and I only have one complaint: the temperature drops faster than I would expect - too cold to drink after 20 minutes or less. Although I'm disappointed, I continue using the cup anyway. It's fine for your desk or a short trip to the office. Also, the cup does stain rather easy - just drop an Alka-Seltzer in it and let it soak for 6 or more hours.---------------------------MSRP: $7.99- I came across this Copco cup while out shopping, looked it over and thought "wow, this is perfect for me". Ok here is the Verdict after using for three months.......
I bought two of these Copco Cups. Excellent design and the seal is quite good. I never had a drinking disaster in my car.Ok. I've used this five times a week with Hot Coffee brewed at home. Initially I noticed no taste of plastic or smell. Since then, about three months later, I now notice a plastic smell and a taste that has infused into the coffee. I think it is a good product, but I think a ceramic mug may be better here. I would keep the design exactly the same but use ceramic for the body and perhaps the same plastic top with the same seal. Ceramic never has any taste.It is close, but not perfect for me.

Great in the Office!

Great mug but not ideal for stirring
My mug arrived in mint condition. No cracks, peeling paint, or smeared words. The box it came in was coming undone but inside of that is a Styrofoam case which stops the mug from moving around and breaking. I found only one very small hardly noticeable imperfection in the glaze. I've read the other reviews that said people had crap mugs. Not sure if Amazon took heed and demanded a better product or if it is just the luck of the draw. The only downside of the mug is that it is not great for hot cocoa or any drink where a lot of stirring is required. It's best if you stir up your drink (if possible) before putting it in the mug as the top portion is narrow and most ingredients get caught on the rim.

Two and a Half Men Striped Mug But SAFE?
Got mine direct from the makers who provide them for the show. I called first to make sure they are safe. Was told on the phone they ARE from China but tested safe. Yet, found out on the CBS Television website that they contain lead & cadmium etc etc who who knows how safe OR unsafe they are! They ARE gorgeous and cheap if bought from correct source. Handles are comfortable and never hot but the cup body itself does heat. GREAT cups if they don't kill me.....There are 3 different color combos I know of. I have this color in my 1st set.
