Best Practice Guitar Amp For The Price
Good, big, rich and clean sound you will get from this guitar amp. The distortion is good as well, it has a switch button for clean/distortion effect, lots of equalizers buttons and reverb effect. The 15 watt single 12 speaker would shake your house and you can use this guitar amp in small gigs.

Very Nice
Very nice amp. Don't let the 15 watts deceive you. This baby can pump with the bigger boys due in part to it's 12" driver. The tone is very warm and clean whether I'm using an electric guitar or classical. ( I don't use the overdrive side as I have my own effects rack ) Amp seems to be more heavier on the bass side. You can really feel it especially in a smaller room. The 3 band eq helps to even things out a bit but if you're looking for "tingling highs", you should look elsewhere. All in all, this is a good practice amp that you can even take with you to smaller gigs.

good home practice amp
This little amp is your basic home practice combo amp. It has your CD input and all the distortion and clean controls. The distortion is not great, but the clean is excellent. However, if you want to get the most out of your amp, plug in your headphones. The amp works wonders on that aspect. Everything you play from clean to distortion sounds pretty good to excellent. It's not the best amp in the world, but it does what it does. If you're a beginning guitarist, like myself, this will fit the bill fine for a couple of years or so -- until you get a real tube amp or a higher watt amp with "professional" features.

This is amp is LOOOUUUD
If you like it loud, you will love this amp. I bought this amp and it has served me well. The only thing I hate is how the overdrive is so....god awful. But the clean is beautiful. All you have to do is get some effects pedals and your set. If you can only afford under $100, get this. If you have more money invest in something else.

Great Value and Great At What It Does!
For the longest time I had a small Peavey practice amp which served me well for almost ten years before it died a natural death. I then started looking for a suitable replacement and I came across this Crate which after more than a year of use has done more than what I was expecting from an amp this price and this size. The clean tone sounds great and while the amp distortion isn't the best that I've heard it is still acceptable. I usually use this amp with the clean tone attached to my Muff distortion pedal plus tuner and compressor and/or analog delay. The sound is steady and so far after more than a year I cannot find anything to really complain about for what I use it for. I don't use the cd/mp3 connecting function and when I tried it out on my Creative Nuvo a few months back it didn't work that well but as this is not a critical feature for me I'm not too upset about this.For what it does and for the price it retails for this surprisingly good amp comes highly...

Great little package for practice anywhere and small gigs
This little amp is really appropriate for buskers. Plug in an acoustic (with pickup) or an electric guitar, and a mic at the same time. Mic input is XLR (low Z) or standard 1/4" (hi Z)- the flexibility is great. Website says that the tone controls (4 band) are for both channels. On mine, now about four years old, the tone controls only apply to channel two. Channel one is "straight" into the amp. They may have changed the specs since mine was made.Overall the amp is great for the money. Good little practice amp and good for small solo/duo gigs. I've also used it as a mini-monitor if I can get an output from the bands board/mixer. I take it on vacation and play at the beach or on my tailgate. nice tone, relatively low hiss
This product is compact and light enough to take pretty much anywhere, and the battery seems to last for hours. I find the tone pleasing, somewhat "warmer" than cheap transistor amps. The high end is faily clear, and the lows are pretty good for a unit this size. There is some hiss and background noise, but it is almost inaudible unless you put your ear next to the speaker.The controls include inputs for CD (twin RCA jacks) and a mic (I am not familiar with this connector), as well as a headphones jack. The construction seems solid.All in all, this amp delivers what it promises, with no drawbacks that I have noticed after using it for 2 months.

The small POWERHOUSE CRATE!
I purchased this because I needed a smaller practice amp that had tons of power. Like most guitar players I did not want to get out all of my effects pedals just to get my weekday fix in. With 65 watts of power being pumped through a 12'' inch speaker who could ask for more.
