I am giving both of my elderly dogs (14 years old next week) Denamarin, and I couldn't swear to anything, but it seems to have improved their health, if not saved both of their lives. Both of them have had improvement in their liver counts after taking Denamarin.

Another great price
I was a little leary about ordering this product online, because I didn't know what I'd be getting. Finally, I thought for the money, not a big loss if it wasn't what it should be. This is exactly the product I got from my vet, same packaging, same everything. It is a much better price here. Very happy with this, seeing I am spending so much money on my dog for her liver disease. Not that money should be the deciding factor to help my dog.....it isn't. Still, every penney saved is a big help.

11 year old Scotty is a puppy again!
Out 11 yr old Scotty had a nail bed infection...ended up with amputation. Her liver levels were terrible and she was very lethargic. The vet recommended Denamarin and 3 wks later she was trotting, 6 wks later she was chasing squirrels! She's much more alert and frisky. Her coat is healthier. Hasn't been this happy in years. Great product!

Amazing medicine for our cat's liver health!
Our cat was near death from liver failure (due to an itchy ear medicine she had been given) and after having an ultrasound that showed no organ damage the vet wanted to take a biopsy of her liver to see if she had liver cancer from the medicine and we said no that would be too painful but we said what would you treat her with if she did have cancer the vet said chemotherapy or Denamarin, probably Denamarin first to see if her function came back. So we said to skip the biopsy and just give her the medicine, which they did. Well long story short she started eating again (bit by bit) and being able to move herself around and her liver values dropped dramatically and at her last blood test her liver values were better then they had been when she was young. So I think this medicine was literally a life saver for our cat :) And she is back to her old grumpy self :)

This is the real deal!
Our Chihuahua puppy was born with micro liver dysplasia. Her liver was not functioning at all and she would have severe seizures. I am happy to say we give her one of these a day and her liver is functioning normally and her blood work comes back perfect on every check up. This was a life saver for us. She will be 6 years old this year.

Love the chewables!
My dog is a small terrier. I was trying to give him the regular tablets. It was a major battle everyday. Finding these chewables ended all that. He grabs them and chews them right up like they're a treat. Great product!

Dog did not like it at all
I got this because when I read the reviews people were saying their dogs like it and was easy to feed their dog. Well when I gave it to my dog he did not like it at all. Because the pill is bigger than the others pills there more to have the dog to eat. I smelled it is bad. Good luck to you all.

Seems to be doing the trick!
Our 11 year old Sophie dog started taking Denamarin approx. 3 months ago and it seems to be working. We had a follow-up visit and blood work at the Vet's which showed improvement in her liver enzymes. It's pretty expensive since we have to give her 3 tablets a day. But she's worth it and we'll keep her on it. Amazon seems to have the best prices - I did a lot of shopping around. The chewables are much easier to give her. She chews them right up - no problems. We had her on the caplets and she would spit them out no matter what we tried to disguise them in!

Denamarin chewable tablets
Helps keep animals with liver disease alive and happy. Chewables make dosing so much easier. It might take your pet a few weeks to get used to the taste, but now my dog gobbles them up with no coaxing. I found that cutting them into 1/4s is helpful -- even though he's a large dog, he doesn't like biting the whole tablets.

Hope it's authentic
This seems to be a good product. However, I'm concerned because my veterinarian told me that there are some bogus medications that are being sold on the internet. She said that the packaging and everything is identical. So, I hope for my sake and my dog's sake, that this product is authenitc.Thanks for considering my input.Carol

half the price the vet charged me!!
So glad I found this on amazon. I spent $90 at the vet's for the Denamarin large dog 35 count package. I did buy the smaller package first to make sure it really was the same medication. It is and I am so glad this is cheaper and twice as much. My dog has liver disease and will be on it for the rest of his days But this price on amazon is going to make it easier on me. I also recommend the Greenies pill pockets. I buy the chicken. Helps him get them down but there are 2 sizes of those-tablet and capsule. capsule ones are pretty big so i break them in 2 pieces and mush them around the pills works great-and i get twice as many uses out of them. The tablet ones are a little small for the large dog Denamarin.
