Wonderful... with the full version key that is...
I came to Android from having had years worth of Windows phones. I liked writing stories on my phone and missed this ability in my new Android phone until I got this app. I wanted some easy way to keep my stories with me whether I was using my PC, my phone or my iPad. This application has a sister version for my iPad. Both allow me to sync with Google documents. (Android version requires full version key for this functionality) This allows me to put items in a single folder on my desk top and have them sync automatically with both my devices! I could not be more pleased with Docs To Go. That said I only use the word processing program so I can not vouch for any of the other programs in the suite. I don't use power point, excel or whatever the other things are. As a word processor it could use improved spell check however it is not as cumbersome as some other programs I have tried so I can live with learning to spell better on my own!

Docs 2 Go
Put Docs 2 Go on my Xoom tablet. (Sync with Win7-64) Works for viewing but to edit, you must get the "Full Version Key". You do NOT need to download the desktop app. Just open the Xoom icon in My Computer and drag files to the appropriate folder in the Xoom. Docs to go then can open them.

It works well on my Archos 43 and lets me view MS Office documents...
There is really not much to say except that it works well. Once the app is installed, opening Office documents in my mail client "just works". That's how stuff like this should be. That's all I needed, and so I've not spent a bunch of time figuring out what else it might do. I wanted an app I could buy if it worked well, and that had a reasonably priced paid version. This one is it. Most other paid apps that do this are way more expensive than they should be. This one fits the bill if you ask me... Highly recommended.

If you were to hand this book to an office staff member, you might find it being used as a computer monitor stand a few months later. Just its size makes one nervous. However, for anyone who does their own presentations (print, slides, dashboards, whatever) and wants a really good summary of a whole lot of features in the several 'presentation-oriented' software products in Office 2011 to make what they do really stand out, this is a great choice for both reference and practical use. It will, for the most part, be up to you to decide whether sparklines, pivot tables, section titles, etc. are right for what you're doing but there are a LOT of things in here to make you more productive. It also covers my favorite and indispensable Microsoft OneNote which is totally unknown to most folks but can be such a help for those trying to corral massive amounts of information. Have worked with DtG since my Palm V
DtG has been consistently upgraded over he years, has always shown a high level of quality in product and diligence in customer service the scant few times I've needed assistance, and I use it daily to handle editing simple documents on the run and forwarding them. $15 is a steal, they used to charge considerably more in the heyday of PalmOS and it was worth the full price then.I have been annoyed with working on spreadsheets on a small screen, but after trying other Office mobile programs I find no one has solved this problem and at least DtG does a good job of making it as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. I will say that it has been a lot easier since I no longer have to use Grafitti to enter formulas.In short, high quality app, expect you'll get upgrades infrequently but consistently. Nothing glamorous about this workhorse of an app but highly reliable as a mobile work tool.

Caution with pre-intalled free app on Acer Iconia A500
My Acer Iconia A500 tablet came with a pre-installed version of the free Docs to Go. Unfortunataly this unlock key is not compatible with that version. I purchased it without realizing this. When I contacted Amazon about this problem they issued a prompt and friendly refund. :-)I then purchased the correct unlock key for Docs to go from the Android Market and that worked fine.I prefer buying my apps from Amazon whenever possible so I hope compatiblity issues of this sort will be cleared up in the future.

I am pretty impressed with this app.it is by no means a substitute for Microsoft Office,however it gives you enough in the way of editing options to get a pretty great start on just about any project.The word processor is,for me,the most outstanding portion of the software. The text editing and alignment. options are easy to use and translate perfectly when opened in MS Office Blue. The indentation and margin options available in OfficeSuite pro are second to none and adding pictures and media into the .docs is as easy as can be.There is a free dictionary and thesaurus available from Mobi that integrates perfectly into the app and extends the functionality even further.Using OfficeSuite Pro with a high end mobile keyboard (like Swiftkey X, FlexT9 or Thumb Keyboard) which has auto correction functions really gets you close to the power of a fully featured word processor.Until this I was using QuickOffice Pro. QuickOffice Pro vs. OfficeSuite Pro 5
I purchased QuickOffice Pro (QOP) several months ago, but I decided to try OfficeSuite Pro 5 (OSP) when it was offered as the FAOTD. I found that OSP is better for editing and creating documents, but QOP is better for viewing.I don't see myself creating anything complex on a mobile device, but I still appreciate the extra features in OSP. Compared to QOP, it has more spreadsheet functions, and it can easily add bullets and numbered lists to "Word" documents.I also viewed several files in both apps. For PDFs, QOP loaded pages more quickly, and I could take advantage of embedded bookmarks, which I couldn't do in OSP. Both apps had similar performance for .doc, .docx, and .xls, opening every document except a large spreadsheet with macros. (In earlier testing, only Documents To Go could open that last file.) However, OSP had trouble with .xlsx. It opened the file, but it failed to load all my columns, even though the file opened without trouble in QOP. I'm sure...
