Laugh Again, Hope Again
book is in good condition. I love the book because it really takes a close look at Paul and why he was so joyful with all his suffering. I'm finally starting to get it.

Product Description
In this timely two-in-one volume, Charles Swindoll helps readers rediscover two profound benefits of knowing God: joy and hope.
In Laugh Again, readers learn how to live in the present, to say "no" to negativity, and realize that while no one's life is perfect, joy is always available. Applying scriptural truths in a practical way, Swindoll shows readers the path to outrageous joy and how they can laugh again.
In Hope Again, readers discover an essential truth of the Christian life: whether they've experienced pain, loss, or disappointment, believers can learn to hope again by connecting with God's purpose for them. Though the path He has for us is not always pleasant, Hope Again provides answers to life's really tough questions. It also reminds us that when we are at our lowest, Christ stands ready to comfort and restore us.

Laugh and Hope
LAUGH AGAIN and HOPE AGAIN are two books that help you view life with optimism. Today's media bombards us with bad news, inaccurate news, and crummy T.V. shows. Movies are a thrill a minute without any redeeming quality. Many books are nothing more than glorified trash. And we're supposed to rejoice about this? Swindoll says that we can rejoice in any circumstance; it's all about our perspective. He uses the apostle Paul as an example. Paul didn't have a steady income, was imprisoned and beaten, had people hate and stone him, and he didn't get his shower every morning. But Paul chose to be content and happy.I enjoyed LAUGH AGAIN and HOPE AGAIN. My only criticism would be that sometimes Mr. Swindoll seemed to belabor the point he was making. But since I read one book immediately after the other, perhaps that was just my impatience rearing up.
