Will fit wide age range
I was worried that these pads might be too small for my seven year old, but they are very adjustable and look like they would fit kids much older and even smaller adults. The gel cushion seems like it will protect well.Update: 6-15-08These pads are great and durable...they have held up to many spills onto a gravel road and have protected my son very well. Good buy.

Great Value, Great Protection
Bought these for my son to be safe on rollerblades, no complaints. The gel does great at shock absorbtion, the construction is sturdy especially considering the cheap price. This is a great deal if you want nice, basic, one size fits all protection for roller sports.

Works for my 2 and 3 1/2 year olds!
I was looking for pads that would work for my 2 year old son and my 3 1/2 year old daughter. I didn't want to buy the cheesy ones that they make for little kids, especially since I couldn't find any that didn't come prepackaged with helmets (they already have new helmets). I wanted pads because my 2 year old loves to ride his scooter and he's quite the daredevil! So, before he left most of his skin on the pavement, I wanted to try to prevent this.I was worried that these pads would be too big. But there is a surprising amount of give with the straps. They fit both my kids (who are on the stockier sides for their ages, but not huge) with the knee pads over clothing and the elbow pads both over clothing and on their bare arms. The kids think they're fun. Both sets of pads stayed on pretty well and would protect their little joints in a fall.

all day knee pads
The Fiskars Ultra Light Kneelers Knee pads are very easy to wear. I put them on in the morning to do landscaping, gardening, tile laying, household chores, construction projects, and painting. And 10 hours later, my knees are still ready for more work. I scrub them off each evening with a brush and soap and water. The strap wraps below the bend in the back of the knee which makes them so easy to wear. I even forget that I have them on. Mine are 3 years old and going strong with possibly 3000+ hours of use. Use good common sense for their use and cleaning and you should have knee friends for a long time.

GREATEST ! Knee Pads
These are the best knee pads I have found, they are easy to put one, and so very comfortable, you hardly know you have them on, and they pretty much stay in place..I bought 3 pairs, one to keep in my barn, for when I work in my garden, and one for household use, when I have to get down on my arthritic knees, and another pair for my Daughter..I highly recommend them.

Great All-Purpose Kneepads
I purchased the Alta Superflex Knee Pads with the non-velcro "Altalok" buckle (featured in the photo).The packaging states clearly "not intended for athletic applications", but I could see it being used in outdoor sporting activities (the reason for my initial purchase). After adjusting and wearing them, they are quite comfortable. The disclaimer is probably because the cushioning is not as thick as other cushioning found in volleyball or similar knee pads available, but make no mistake: there is comfortable fabric and great padding in these.The cap is not a super-rigid, plastic material like many skateboarding caps are. They are a sturdy but flexible, hard rubber material with a soft texture to them that provides grip when kneeling down.The lower strap is made of a tough and durable adjustable Du Pont Cordura (R) strap. The upper strap is made of a flexible elastic strap that gives enough tension to keep the fit around the lower quads/above the...

I understand that these are the same pads that the military uses. After some marathon caving I can understand why. I might not have knees any more if these bad boys weren't there. I also love the rubber caps over hard plastic, stiff fabric, or other alternatives.

Quality product
These are really sturdy, and very comfortable to wear. I found them to be easy to adjust, and they stay put. I use them primarily for photography: I take a lot of low-angle shots, and my knee takes a beating. So running around with one of these wrapped on my leg all day is not a problem: doesn't slide off, stays put, offers excellent padding/protection and feels comfortable.Recently I also put them to use on a renovation project. And they held up great.Generally, the plastic front does scuff up pretty easily, but besides cosmetics it has no effect on the product. They're been used and abused for over a year now, and hold up up just as well as the day I got 'em (just little beat up, that's all, but lots of life left in them). Great product.

great kneepads
I use kneepads almost every day doing remodeling work and I was looking for a comfortable, stable kneepad to replace a discontinued Bucket Boss brand that had provided years of great service. I tried the best kneepads available at the local supply stores and they did not provide much protection and comfort and within a month my knees would be sore by the end of the day. When I got these kneepads I was concerned when I saw the sleeves and a lower strap to hold them in place. It would be too time consuming to get them on and off using the sleeves so I use just the lower strap with the thought they would not stay in place well. I've been very pleased with how well they stay in place and they have the stability, comfort, and protection that I was looking for at a reasonable price. They are very light and comfortable enough to have on all day. I am very pleased with them so far.

love them !
Ordered these bck in March, been usin them now for jst about a month. i wrk as a merchant seaman, so im on my knees alot wrtk on a steel deck, and these things wrk great ! comfortable as they come, nice padding as well. i been wearing them for about 10-12 hours a day with shorts, and have had no problem with them. the velcro strap on the botton is a nice add feature, i dont use it much, but u can secure it to the front of the pad. bottom line i love them, great pads !

Excellent knee pad for chronic knee pain sufferers
I am a handyman who spends at times 10-12 hours a day on my knees, installing flooring, and decks. I have tried four different brands of the most expensive knee pads available, and these, having a more durable and larger gel area within the kneepad, are by far are the best. Having gel throughout the majority of the interior, as apposed to only the knee cap was important to me. I suffer from Osgood-Schatter's Disease, from my childhood. This caused the top of my tibia to protrude out farther than my knee cap. Usually my "knooby knees" will grind a hole right through the padding or gel of a knee pad. This however is not the case with the Pro Flex 347. My only complaint is that I prefer the comfort of the wide strap, like the one on the Pro Flex 345. As far as my knees are concerned, I have never been happier. I will never wear anything else. Thank you.

Great Fit
These knee pads are a great fit for my 13 yr old daughter. She plays club and school volleyball and they hold up well and do not inhibit her movement. The longer length gives added protection. They are easy to wash in the washing machine. I would buy these again.

Solid product for a decent price
At first these knee pads were so tight I got calf cramps. So for the bigger guys/girls out there, be careful.I left them stretched over a tube for about a week and have worn them in. They fit perfect now and do a good job of covering up my entire knee.

Amazon is erroneously refering to this product (knee pads) as a toy in this rating dialog.I am 74 years old and it is not a toy. It is very valuable protection for my knees since I recently had knee surgery. It really prvents injury to the knees while in the kneeling position, e.g. scrubing floors, gardening, etc. The pads are very easy to use and are very effective.If using the value to price ratio for evaluation, it is a great value for a low price.
