Great, portable toy!
This is one of my son's favorite toys. He first started paying attention to it at about 2 months, mostly because of the bright colors, I think. He's now nearly 5 months old, and he enjoys grasping it so it crinkles, chewing on the attached bug and rings, a and looking at himself in the mirrored wing. The toy is small enough to take in the diaper bag, and the included clip is really handy with the infant seat and stroller. This is a great toy for infants, and you can really see changes in the way they play with it as their motor skills develop.

Freddie - A Great Baby Toy
Freddie became my baby's favorite toy when he was about 2 months, now he is 6 and he still LOVES this "fly" (as we call Freddie). It is great for touching and feeling, chewing and playing all sorts of games. It is easy to hook on to anything, stroller, bouncer, high chair or car seat and I washed it with soap and water and it looks great. One of our best "investments".

Stimulates Baby's Vision and Auditory Skills
When babies are first born, they see in black and white. This is why Freddie strikes a balance between bright, high contrast patterns that help stimulate baby's vision, and bold solid colors that give baby's eyes a place to rest. Sounds like squeak, clink, and crinkle also help stimulate and develop baby's auditory skills. Finally, Freddie's large, friendly eyes invite baby to focus and stare at a single object, which can help calm baby while supporting healthy eye development.

Child-Safe Design
Made to be safe for newborns and young children, Freddie features a soft velour body that's ideal for cuddling and busy wings with a peek-a-boo mirror for interactive play. Multiple textures keep your baby interested, encouraging her to explore. Additionally, the rings clink together, and the tethered ladybug teether--which baby can pull out or store in a cute little pocket--and knotted antennae are perfect for chewing. For added fun and to aid small motor development, there's also a ball that squeaks when squeezed.

Baby's Best Friend
Jacques is one of Lamaze's best offerings! The peacock is light enough - and the feather panels thin enough - for little hands to grab, tug and pick up without easily dropping. The feather panels also provide several chewable surfaces for little ones who love to put everything in their mouth. The shape of this toy also makes it easy to tuck into a car seat. While a lot of toys seem to fall out of the car seat once baby starts playing with them, the flatness of the feather panels and the flat bottom of the peacock body seem to help this toy stay in the seat. Also, the feather panels are easy for baby to reach out for an edge, grab and pull back into reach. For these reasons, we made our peacock a "car only" toy so that our little one, who was not fond of car travel at 4 months, would have something he liked in the car. This toy was an immediate favorite even before our little one really became interested in these types of toys. The back of...

Lamaze makes great toys
Around 10 weeks, my baby finally started noticing the Lamaze toys we had around the house - we had the Emily doll first - and now that is her ultimate favorite toy. I just purchased Jacques for her, and she loves him too. The back of the toy is patterns of black and white fabric, and has the crinkly sound babies seem to love. Each of the "feathers" has a different interest point - a squeaker, a soft bulb, a mirror, and satin touch ribbons. This is a really great deal, too - Babies R Us sells the same toy for $12.99 as of today.

Great Toy!
We saw this in Babies-R-Us and our little baby couldn't stop laughing when she saw it. I think it's the combination of the BIG EYES, the squeaker in one of the wings, the mirror in another wing, the krinkly sounds and the bright colors. The hook on top is useful for hanging from the carseat or from the swing -- however, if you are just trying to make Jacque dance for your baby, the hook kind of gets in the way but that is a minor note. Overall, I highly recommend Jacque -- she has not tired of him yet and everytime she sees good ol' Jacque, her face lights up and she babbles at him.

The Best Infant Toy!
Mortimer the Moose was a hit with my daughter who is only 3 months old but VERY active and attentive. The moose has so many nice colors to attract my daughter's attention. In fact, as soon as she saw the moose, she smiled and kicked. Given the size of the moose (fairly large), it is not a problem for her to handle it since there are so many places she can hold on to. She is easily able to grip onto the mooses legs and/or "ring" tail (the tail of the moose is 2 textured rings, which makes for easier handling with little ones that have such small fingers). The ears are gummy and great for teething babies. But for my 3 month old who has no teeth just yet, she is content to suck on the mouth of the moose which is soft, instead. The nice thing about this is I don't have to worry about the fur coming off and her choking on it. This moose is wonderful for her motor skills. I like the fact that it is all-in-one--a chew toy (ears are...

Great Toy!
This is one of my 5 month old's favorite toys. It keeps his attention for a good amount of time. He loves the crinkle sounds and teething antlers. I love that it comes with an attachment hook, making it very easy not to lose. It has a high cute factor too. I would definitely recommend Morti to any friends.

Must Have
This is my 8 month old sons favorite animal/toy hands down. I can always take it with us and not have to worry about him getting bored. He's loved it since we got it for him when he was three months old, and though it has lost some of its novelty, he still enjoys playing with the textures, and finds comfort in having him around.

Product Description

Mortimer the Moose will keep baby amused for hours with his many colors, textures, and sounds. His antlers are teethers, his feet are colorfully patterned and make a variety of sounds, and he chimes when you pick him up. From birth on up, Mortimer is a cute toy that will hold your baby's attention.

Cuddly, Stimulating Fun Even for the Youngest Baby
The Lamaze Mortimer the Moose is part teddy bear--his body is soft and cuddly--and part teether--his antlers are a soft, sturdy rubber that's perfect for chewing. His tail is made of two rubber rings, ideal for baby hands to hang onto. His hooves are multicolored and festively patterned, which attracts baby's eyes. When your little one grabs the bright colors, the sounds the hooves make will produce even more delighted giggles!

Morti's Good to Go
The Lamaze link on his back makes it easy to take baby's favorite moose along, and you can hang the toy over a crib, car seat, or play mat. Your baby can enjoy the chimes, squeaks, rattles, and crunches anywhere you go.

This well-built moose will stand up to the most enthusiastic play. Mortimer measures 11.5 x 5.3 x 2.8 (LxHxW) inches and comes with a 90-day limited warranty.

Cool toy!
When our baby was first born it was fun to take pictures of him next to this inchworm because he was shorter than it. Now, at 5 months, he is longer than the inchworm and loves to roll over and "wrestle" with it. He is currently entertained by the various textures and fabrics on the inchworm, and I anticipate this being a toy that grows with him as he learns to make the music play, press the squeeky part, and learn his colors, numbers, and the measurement system! A very cool learning & development toy!

Not so musical Inchworm.
It's a cute toy though it shouldn't be advertised as a "Musical Inchworm" because the music is not very impressive. The music is similar to that of low-quality greeting card. It's very quiet and tinny, and only turns on when the nose is pressed. The various segments of the inchworm has different senses inside, only one of them actually plays music.

A little boring
The lamaze toys are mostly the same so save bucks and don't buy too many. Crinkles, squeaks galore. It's not as long as my son and he's 6 months. He does like chewing on it but he likes chewing on almost anything. As another reviewer stated, it's a bit difficult to get the song to play. Still a fun tummy time toy though.

Perfect for baby
I was looking for a toy for my 5 week old son. A toy that would stimulate and meet his growing curiosity without being too visually overwhelming. The moment he saw this toy, he loved it and could hardly take his eyes off it. I've put it standing up on one side of his play gym and he spends most of his time just starring and "talking" to it.

Excellent Visual Toy
My baby son enjoyed this toy from his second month up until now, his fifth month. I hang it over the sofa while nursing so that he has a pattern to look at. I displayed the black and white pattern side the first 2 months and in the past month started showing the big eyed animal pictures. My son loves them, he focuses on each of the pictures separately, studies the details and after finishing his nursing he starts smiling and cooing at the little figures. It looks like he has developed some sort of communication with the little faces he sees on the pads. The padded material is easy to display or hang anywhere, horizontally and vertically and is easy to wash. I would highly recommend it for developing a baby's visual skills. It says the black and white pattern is for earlier months and the other side with animal heads is for 6 months and later.

Most favorite!
My baby is 5 months old and since day 1, he has loved this more than any other toy, rattle, anything he could look at and play with. I don't know what his fascination is with this little book, but this was the BEST money ever spent. He can spend 30 minutes just looking at this, pulling at the things that come out, and seeing what happens. it is amazing! This is a must purchase! This goes with him daily to grandma's house (she keeps him while we work). I thought he would get bored with it, but he is now actually pulling the little animals out of their place. He has looked at this since he we got him home from the hospital. We would keep it on the black and white side a lot.

First Friends for My Daughter
My daughter began noticing these when she was 5 weeks old. We would show them to her when we would change her diaper, but not put them on her. By 6 weeks old she was showing a definite interest in the wrist bee toy by smiling at it. We began calling it Mr. Bee, and we placed it on her wrist whenever she was in her bouncer or in her BebePod. At eight weeks old, she began babbling and cooing to Mr. Bee whenever she wasn't interacting with us. My daughter is now 17 weeks old, and Mr. Bee is still her best friend. She really enjoys visiting with Ms. Ladybug and Mr. Dragonfly, too. We don't have them all visit at once- my daughter is happiest with one-on-one interaction with each of them. I love that she can have a little "friend" velcroed to her when we go out- it can't get dropped, and is small enough to tag along. *UPDATE* I bought a new set of bugs for my new baby boy, and he adores them! At four months old, his favorite...

Great foot and hand finder
