Great set
My son has been wanting Annie and Clarabelle for a while and this is the only place I have found them. The magnets work much better than the hook and loop of the bigger trains (don't break). Extremely fast delivery. very happy with product.

Thomas' loyal coaches!
Prior to going into detail about Annie & Clarabel, a little of our own "Thomas" history... As first time grandparents, my husband and I wanted to start some type of collection for our grandson that he could possibly pass along to his own kids one day. Our grandson was 2 1/2 at the time, and had been talking a lot about a certain train named Thomas (a little fella whom - now seems hard to believe! - we'd never heard of.) After doing some research, it seemed the Take-n-Play line might be the perfect investment to engage and encourage his active imagination, as well as provide a fun way for us to interact with him. What a rewarding decision... we've had SO much fun together with this quality line of trains, vehicles and playsets! As he approaches 4, a large portion of our basement has become a wonderful Sodor land of make believe that we all enjoy visiting - and continues to hold his interest, which is quite a feat given the tendency at that age to move in and out of toy phases so...

My child loves it

Excellent toy!
This really is an excellent toy -- my 3yo boy loves them. He can practice cutting them, making "soup", and then when we serve those vegetables he's a little more interested in them. These are a bit pricey, but make a great gift, and keep him busy and happy for hours every week. I was surprised how durable the velcro is -- he can pull them apart over and over without damaging the velcro in any way. A really well designed, fun, and educational toy.

Great for Imagination & pretend play.
This is a great product, my 2 year old daughter loves it. I was making sausage and peppers, and while i was cutting the peppers, my daughter took out her veggies and was pretending to cut them just like mommy!

Lots of play with these!
I wasn't too excited about these when I saw them in the box, but my daughter (just under 2 years) really enjoys playing with these. I imagine she'll like them when she's older too as she can't put all of them back together yet. They vary in how they go back together--some are just a basic "cut" in half, others have leaves on them and then smaller parts, and the pineapple (that would be in the fruit set, we have that too) even has a "core."

Most elegant character
Very happy with the purchase. The glossy paint makes Donald looks very classy and elegant. The charcoal carrying cart also looks better proportion. Wish this one comes with light and sound too ! My 25 months old son loves this more than the other friends of Thomas. He keeps it at his bedside table and plays with it before going to sleep.

Love Thomas Trains
My boys love Thomas the train and all his friends, so when we saw Belle we had to get her. My boys are not gentle with toys (they're boys after all) and all of these trains have held up. They are made with high quality materials. The paint has not chipped, the metal doesn't dent and the magnets all still work properly. Our oldest trains, which we've had for about 4 years, are still in great condition.When writing this review, I was prompted to rate the educational value of this toy... In my opinion, the toy itself has no educational value. It's a fun toy and my children are familiar with the Thomas movies and therefore love these trains. If you're interested in educational toys, I would suggest looking elsewhere. If you're looking for a train that will delight your child and provide hours of fun, then this fits the bill.

Not compatible with the wooden Thomas the Tank Engine toys.
As an initial word of warning, it should be noted that this particular product is NOT compatible with the wooden Thomas the Tank Engine toys. Also, this product is NOT compatible with the wooden railroad tracks that are availabe for Thomas the Tank Engine products. In a nutshell, this product has a smaller scale (the gauge is narrower) than for the wooden Thomas the Tank Engine products that most people are familiar with. Thus, you will NOT be able to set this product on the wooden tracks, or to latch this product with the wooden cars.This particular product does not contain any wood. However, the reason is that this product contains internal mechanical and electrical mechanisms. One of the cars is configured to rock up and down and up and down, in the manner of a see-saw, as it is drawn over a track or a table. The see-sawing car has a worried face. Mister Worried Face's coal car is empty. Underneath the coal compartment, which is entirely metal, is a red plastic...

Great Craftsmanship
These Thomas the Train Take N Play pieces are well crafted and can handle alot of abuse. I would HIGHLY recommend these to any parent whose child enjoys trains. My son has been playing with these since he was 18 months old.
