I am so glad I bought this.
I have mostly hard wood and tile flooring. The parquet brush is so much easier to use than the combination carpet / smooth floor tool that came with my Miele canister vacuum. I save the other tool for my area rugs. The parquet brush is lighter and so easy to maneuver under beds and other furniture. No regrets with this purchase.

a must for hardwood floors
This brush is great, I would never use anything else on my newly refinished hardwood for fear of scratches. My only complaint is that it should have been included when I purchased my miele. The standard brush "for hard floors" with the metal bottom kind of scares me.

Almost Perfect
The original parquet brush with an even line of stiff bristles caught the dust but just moved larger debris along the floor. This new brush is a great redesign, perfect for hardwood floors. The bristles are spaced alternating high and low allowing the necessary airspace to capture more than just dust. The head rotates easily for access to those difficult to reach places. However, it does nothing but floors, and since most people have a rug & floor combination it becomes just one more vacuum head that you have to haul around.Don't get me wrong, if you care about your hardwood floors ,this is a keeper. I am buying another for my second vacuum cleaner.Perfect would be a re-introduction of the original combination tool with rotating head that cleaned rugs and didn't scratch the heck out of hardwood floors.Although Miele purports to love communication from consumers, they have never answered any of the emails I've sent suggesting that they...

Great for old Hardwood floors
If you have older hardwood floors ( not the newer sealed hardwood) this product is great. The one with low gloss was good but I needed to put two coats. The high gloss one only take one coat and it looks great. My floors are very old and the finish is practically off of it. I used this product as a last ditch effort and it has saved my floor.I do it one a year and then top it with some Preen polisher. It lasts all year. This is the third year I have used it and to tell you the truth it didn't really need it this year as it still looked good. I can understand why the user that used it on the prefinished hardwood floor would have a problem with it. It should have stated it on it's label but it does now I believe. Don't waste money on Mr Sandless this product does the same quality job as they do
First off make sure you pay attention to the bad reviews here ...THIS ITEM IS FOR OLD HARDWOOD THAT STILL HAS A FINISH..DO NOT USE IT ON NEW MANUFACTURED FLOORS. NOW FOR MY 5 STAR REVIEW. I remodeled my 60 year old home back in 2006 and wanted to keep some of the old elements. I have a random width pumpkin pine floor with pegs that was definitely showing signs of wear. I decided to save money and go online and had [...] come out and refinish my floors without sanding. They did beautifull work and my floors looked fantastic for about a year before they started dulling again. The price to have them do the entire first floor of my home was just over 500 dollars. I recently discovered this product and decided to give it a try...2 bottles covered the entire first floor of my home and the results are just as good as what i paid [...] 500 + dollars to do.
