Fat is back
I shared this movie with my tiny daughter and a group of friends. I was seeking a message of acceptance but got much much more. It is a great dramatic comedy with a great message, a lesson in culture and a romance. It is a good movie for women in search of acceptance (all of us) and for those who put others down because of their differences (all of us).

Uplifting and Funny
I have to be honest when I first heard of this movie. My first thought was another bad movie like the Cookout. To my pleasant surprise It was really good. It has a positive message which will appeal to anyone. Monique plays a salesperson trying create a clothing line for plus-size women while battling the prejudice that she meets from others as well as accepting who she is. A movie about self-esteem,self-improvement, self-awareness. I would recommended this to anyone.

Fun for everyone
Phat Girlz proves that being big can also be beautiful in this entertaining, heartfelt comedy staring Mo'Nique as an aspiring fashion designer. Fed up with the mumu-style clothing in popular stores Jazmine decides to come up with her own clothing line. Her boss and her own self-doubt prove to be her biggest hurdle.It was nice to see a film with actresses who are not anorexic and who are self-confidant regardless of their looks. Too often a woman is valued only for her physical appearance. I thought all three actresses were attractive, funny, and did an excellent job. One bugaboo: I would've liked to see her cousin develop a bit more empathy. The fact that she stood aside while Jaz took abuse rankled with this reviewer a bit.I felt the male actors were all handsome and endearing. 4 stars. Entertaining and fun.

Absolutely Fantastic!
I have many, many play along packages and this is one one of the best! Challenging, interesting, contemporary material, well written, well-recorded and performed. It's a blast to play along with these charts. This is NOT for beginners, but players that have some experience playing big band material. A good grasp of changing meters and chart reading will definitely add to one's enjoyment. If you can only choose one play along package, choose this one.

Great instruction!
The great drummer, Bernie Dresel, offers practical insight into reading the charts and shares his philosophy on playing for this amazing big band.The closet thing you can come to an actual lesson on big band drumming.I'd say if you can play along with these challenging charts, you are on your way to being a top-notch big band drummer.

Very educational
The charts are very clean and match up with the recording 100 percent (unlike other books like this.) The arrangements and tunes are kinda cool too. The band is not very swingin' but they are dead on accurate. Sounds like legit union musicians. I bought it for myself to keep my sight reading in shape (I am a union musician myself) but it will be very good for some of my advanced students as well. It looks just like the charts you see on the gig, so it is exactly what I was looking for.

Extreme Curves they are indeed.
It tends to be difficult to find good art featuring bottom-heavy women. This is a nice exception. There are plenty of pages of Phil Henderson's colored pin-up drawings. What is seen on the cover is true to the rest of the inside of the book.

Booty Bonanza
This book is in the same vein as his first. Yes there are nude and partially nude women portrayed in this material, but it is NOT pornography. It is a collection of paintings of fuller figured ladies, and is very tastefully done. If you subscribe to the moniker that real women have curves, this book is JUST what the doctor ordered.

Better than the last
Henderson's drawings have matured since his debut collection in 2004--less cartoony, more substantial--in other words, his women are even more lusciously and sensually rendered than ever before. There are a lot of Latin types represented in the pinups and drawings. My only problem is that the printings of this edition tend to be rather dark. Other than that, they are stunningly, sumptuously rendered.

Amazing knife, great bargain!
I am VERY impressed with this knife. I was a little skeptical with it being made in Taiwan, but it is extremely well made. Locks up tight as a bank vault, blade swings out smooth as glass and is so sharp I could shave the hair off my arm with it right out of the box! Everything lines up nice and neat, not sloppy, looks almost like it was hand fit.Only negatives are the open clip spot needs a filler and the thumb notch is a little small... minor complaints and I plan on fixing both.Do not hesitate to buy, it will make a great EDC.

GREAT EDC
Great knife. good size and strong steel. takes a few times to get used to the thumb stud but then it opens lighting fast. I polished the handles since they come "beat up" for better grip and also filled the round tip thumb stud to give better grip. But its a great knife.

Thick comfortable handle. Locks up solid. Smooth and sharp. To my taste too heavy for casual carry, but weight and girth makes it ideal for extended use. Just wish it came with a fill in spacer for the off-side clip recess.
