myPod on the Kindle Fire
I tried out several of podcast apps for the Kindle Fire before choosing this one (and paying for the full version). It was the only app that found all of the podcasts I follow, and which found every episode of those podcasts. If for some reason the search feature does not find the podcast you want, copying and pasting the XML link for the RSS feed works like a charm.The user interface could not be described as intuitive. However, there is plenty of help available, including a very useful video on getting started. Once you've added and played a podcast or two, you will probably be good to go. The interface is consistent throughout the app.One nice touch, especially for the Fire, is that the text size is easily adjustable. A simple + and - at the bottom of the screen allows you to choose the size that works best for you on your device. Great albeit quirky
As I enjoy Old Time Radio finding an application for my Motorola Droid X became a must do task.After a number of trials I settled on MyPod. It has been reviewed as being too difficult to learn and use. I will concede that it has somewhat of a learning curve. It's a full featured application with many options available for the OTR/Podcast fan.The documentation while on the low side of adequate the ability to play with the buttons makes up for any lack of written instructions.I use Google to find the OTR episodes I want and plug the "proper format" into the player. From that point is easy enough to manipulate the episode from download list to playlist. I've yet to work out some of the features but a day following download of the application and its unlock key I have 380 episodes with thousands still available.There are easier applications available but they are no way as featured as Mypod. It is well worth the effort.

Clunky but powerful interface
This is probably the best podcast player for the Kindle Fire. I use Google Reader to manage my RSS feeds and this will pick up the mp3s when you try to stream them, and give you the option of downloading them. When your Fire "sleeps" they will keep playing, unlike WinAMP. The interface is a little clunky but it does everything you need it to. I don't have to deal with it though, since I mainly use this to just play the links from gReader.

had this on android phone and now kindle fire. easiest and best podcast downloader there is. great on fire because you can download with wi-fi and listen on the go unlike so many other rss feeds.

Does what I want it to do
I use this on a Kindle Fire. The usability of the screens/menus are very good. Enables me to search, download, and play with ease. Much of the multimedia of the Kindle Fire usability depends on WiFi hot spots, and with this App I'm able to load up on podcasts that interest me for when I'm not going to be in a WiFi range. This App does an excellent job of presenting old technology in a user friendly manner on the hottest devise available.

Finally, an excuse to not watch TV
Pros: Good design, fair amount of podcasts, you can listen offline.Cons: $7 to stay on a prenium member is pushing it.If you are willing to spend $7, this is a great app. If you aren't try something like Sticher.

The best app PERIOD !
Sorry for overly long review-but...No more searching websites for podcasts to download !!, or dealing with i-tunes to download past podcasts !, as stictcher will gather up a list of all your favorite podcasts and update all of them when you wish at once then it plays them one after another and certain podcasts like BBC have numerous podcasts that update twice per day one has the option of updating or not. Also Sticher has live internet radio worldwde with a favorites option -fantastic app! Best app for podcasts - now better on the Fire!
I have long been a Stitcher user. This is a great app to get the podcasts and shows I want to hear from the web into my ears easily. I can create stations of my favorites, and the app works great. Since getting my Kindle Fire, I have been using Stitcher, but it was the phone version. This recent update is a tablet-specific version, so the app has gotten even better! Stitcher is my most used app across all my devices. And now I use it more than ever on my Fire thanks to their new version.

Works Flawlessly
The true test of a how-to book is whether or not you get the desired results. Well I can say that I wanted to create my own podcast and after reading this book, I did.I am not the most computer savvy, but I'm also not an idiot (at least if you ask the right folks). Like many, I use the computer extensively all day and know the majority of popular programs. But when it comes to HTML, websites, and behind the curtain stuff, forget it. So, when I set out to create my own podcast, I was a bit intimidated. This book put me at ease.One thing I will say is this: READ IT! Don't be one of those that just flips to the parts you think you need. This book is better if you really read it cover to cover. The only book you need for Podcasting advice....until the next edition comes out.
A couple of years ago, I got Podcast Solutions and was really impressed with its' overall content. For its' time. Of course, with everything on the web, practically everything changes and thus, a new edition of this book had to be released. And it's still probably the best book out there. Lots of updated information on how to create, edit and upload podcasts and for the most part, do it on the cheap since if you're really looking to make a million bucks doing this, keep looking. Lots more stuff on video which has truly taken off thanks to YouTube and similar sites and newer ways to promote and get advertisers to your site. You'll also learn how to use WordPress and similar blogs and create a podcast site as a result. That's what I did with one of my clients. Not as thick as the Bibles out there but at least you won't get a hernia trying to lift it. You should be getting ideas for your own (or your clients own) podcasts within minutes of surfing thru this book.

Good sound quality, comfortable fit, great battery life!
I have owned many bluetooth headsets over the years so here is my opinion of the Plantronics M50 in comparison. First of all this headset can stream music or podcasts from your smart phone which none of my previous headsets could do. It also has built-in noise reduction to reduce or eliminate background noise like wind, rain, traffic or music. It has voice alerts that tell you the battery level, volume level, talk time and more. It has a special battery meter that will show up on your screen if you have an iPhone.This headset syncs easily on my Samsung Gravity Touch or PS3 if you happen to play video games online. The sound quality is good for an average priced headset. I don't have any problems with disconnects or voice transmission.I have also owned other headsets that tend to want to move or feel like they are going to fall off. Not a problem with this one, it's held securely in place and is fairly comfortable.I love the battery life on this...

Use Multipoint One Call at a Time

Once you have activated multipoint and paired your two phones, it's easy to answer calls from either phone. When already on a call, you will hear a ringtone notification of the incoming call from the second paired phone.

Pairs well with Skype
This is a cute BT headset that is very lightweight. It pairs very easily with Skype (as long as you have a BT adapter). The standby time is about 16 hr, and I've had a conversation lasting +5 hours straight on this thing with no problems. I've paired it with my computer and phone, and there have been no problems at all. The pairing is very easy.One of the best features of the headset for me is that fact that it has a switch to turn off/on, and a voice will tell you when you've turned it off/on. This is waaaaay better than other BT where you have to double/triple press a button not knowing if you've turned it on or off.I knocked off 1 star because the ear loop is made of thin plastic and it could very easily break. Once that loop breaks, there won't be a way for me to keep it secure to my ear. There are NO additional ear buds that come with it. What you receive is what you get. The ear buds fit me fine, but others might not feel that way.
