these are metal hooks, can't really say much :)
these are hooks. they are metal. I haven't tested their strength but they hold my kitchen items nicely. i'd imagine they would hold most anything you would want to hang from a kitchen rack. Top to learn more

Love these things.
I've about 50 of these and always finding new uses. I have a small outdoor closet in my town house where I put up a few shower rods and hang miscellaneous stuff with these to maximize the space. Use one as a coat hanging at work and to hang Christmas lights. Several to hang pants in the closet.

Huge Hooks
Amazon did NOT provide size dimensions in their write up of this product so it was larger than I wanted. However, it is very strong and well made and quite affordable. I've used 4 of them in other applications and they are performing beautifully.

Exactly what I was looking for
I love this towel hook. I hung it on my towel bar in my bathroom so that I could hang my hair towel on it (turbie twist towel). It is perfect. Now my hair towel can dry out completely between uses. It looks very nice too. Top to learn more
matches my NSF metal shelving unit
These aren't the best quality in the world, because the metal doesn't feel completely smooth to the touch, but they are still very attractive and sturdy. They match my metal wire shelving unit perfectly because they are made of the same shiny round steel (which is also not perfectly smooth I am discovering). The other hooks I found at the Container Store that are designed to work with these shelves do clip on a little tighter, but they still wobble, and they don't look like they belong with the shelves, since they are a more muted metal and flat instead of round. I'm using them in my boys' bedroom so they can hang up their many different school bags and video game bags as they come home. Top to learn more

Great quality, size and price - Perfect IKEA GRUNDTAL hook Replacements
I was looking for low-cost butcher hanging hooks for additional pots and pans. We had ikea grundtal shelves and hooks from the store, but couldn't order more hooks online. IKEA.com online store doesn't carry them. Looked on ebay, but way over priced and looked shady. I didn't have time to go to ikea store which is a bit of a drive out of my way. Stainless steel but not brushed stainless.
When I first received the hooks I thought, "These aren't stainless." Then I realized that THEY ARE STAINLESS STEEL (SS). It was just that in the pictures they looked like they had a brushed finish when in fact they have a dull unfinished appearing surface. This was easily cured with a little emory cloth to give them the brushed finish I was needing to match a SS rod of a pot rack system I was building. I would think that if you wanted them to be shiny, one could take a buffing wheel to them or maybe use a little polishing compound or Brass-O. They are of a lower grade SS though as a magnet does indeed stick to them, but more than good enough for my use. Shipping was extremely high, costing more than the hooks as you have to pay shipping charges per pack of hooks. Shipping was very prompt though, arriving days before expected. Overall a good product. Good Hooks
I bought these hooks for a pot hanger and they work fine. The product description was accurate and the price was fair.General advice to someone buying them for pot hanging: the wide open ends let the hooks turn on your hanger which might make hanging pots tricky. The S-hooks made for pot hangers have a narrow throat on one end which will keep them from moving around as much. Top to learn more
