Good Quality Herbs
The seeds arrived well packaged and in a timely manner. Mine did not come in little plastic pouches (as pictured). They arrived in what looked sort of like pill boxes with the name of the seed in each section printed on the tab. The pill boxes were shrink wrapped and delivered in a padded envelope. I planted them a few days after they arrived and at this time most of them have already started to sprout and grow. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because they did not arrive with any planting instructions so I'm not sure if the ones that haven't sprouted yet needed something done to them prior to planting or if they are just slow to sprout. A wonder selection of heirloom seeds! My seed vault arrived in a coffee type can. completely sealed like a can of soup. The vault comes with a plastic lid as well for resealing once you have opened the vault for the first time. Inside there were 20 or so little opaque mylar bags that were labeled with the seed name, net weight, amount of seeds contained, germination percent, as well as instructions for planting, transplanting, and other suggested care. The mylar bags are resealable like ziplock bags so you can use a few and save the rest. My vault also came with a 6 page guide for saving seeds. This has proven to be invaluable for me! There is a section specifically for each type of seed included with your vault. all the veggies were wonderful and tasted soooo much better than store bought veggies... Peace of mind for future gardens
I bought this Seed Vault directly from the vendor's website, and not from Amazon, but I am so pleased with it that I wanted potential buyers to know they'll be happy with it too. I've also bought a seed sprouter, Tattler lids (for canning) and some herb seeds from this vendor's website and and have been happy with my purchases.All the seeds in this vault are are non-GMO heirloom seeds, which means I can harvest the seeds from this year's garden and replant next year without buying more. The tin it comes in can be resealed, unlike another seed vault I bought that came in a crimp-sealed tin can. We opened the can to see what we got, and decided to try some of the seeds. We grew the beefsteak tomato, California Wonder bell pepper and the Blue Lake bush beans this year, and saved the other seeds in the vault for later. The seeds sprouted well - I don't know the percentage that did or didn't sprout, but *most* of the seeds sprouted. And the plants produced well all summer...

I can sleep better at night knowing I have this
The seed bank came in at the same time as my Katadyn 0.2 micron filter, and I have to say; knowing that I have a plethora of clean water and non-gmo food makes me feel REALLY good. This bank is great, especially for the price. Great diversity of vegetables, but if there was any negative it would be the minimal amount of fruits. Regardless, you will have more than enough to survive. Packaging is great and resealable, and their are unique instructions for planting and growing on each one. If you don't have one yet, GET THIS ONE!

Plants vs. Zombies
Ok so I got this packet of seeds in order to plant them after zombies ravage this planet. I sure do hope they have cat tails in this packet. I received the seeds quicker than expected. However, I can't try them until I need them. Started growing in April in Northeast area
For the last couple of years I have been growing a couple of tomato plants on my patio in large pots. Until last year I waited to plant my tomatoes plants until the end of May as cold frosty night we get kill tomatos that are planted too early.I started with the seeds, which I germinate on a dinner plates covered with wet paper towels, and then covered by another dinner plate. This technique produces very reliable good results.Last year I decided to see if I can start growing tomatos earlier by using an umbrella green house. I was not sure whether the umbrella would provide sufficient warmth, as my plants are located on the wooden deck with air circulating in spaces between the wooden slats. If the umbrella was placed on the ground would provide a warmer environment. My tomatoes plants are watered by the drip irrigation system on a timer. Died in infancy
The soil was prepared, the containers readied, the lights placed and the seeds planted. The little sprouts appeared in May along with varieties of vegetables in several containers. And then, after about three weeks they all died. I am sure it was something in the soil and will use the rest of the seeds for next years batch & hope for a better result. I give the rating this year as the sprouts did appear and began to grow. I think their demise is due to my lack of developed horticultural skills. Top to learn more
