Good, Clean Fun for the Whole Family
There isn't much I can say about this game that hasn't already been said. But I will.This game is labeled for ages 7+. I'll tell you, though, my boys were absolute UNO ADDICTS when they were 4. It's really easy to learn, so they caught on very quickly. For about 6 months, they played this game with my husband every day as soon as they got up in the morning and the minute he got home from work each day. We have taken a deck with us everywhere we've gone incase we've needed something to do to pass time.We would never be without this game.Playing with the little kids, we never keep score. We just play that whoever goes out wins.Works for us.

"Uno!"
Mattel's game of Uno has been a fun and entertaining card game for many years. The basic rules for playing Uno are as follows:1. The deck consists of four suits (red, green, blue and yellow). Each suit contains several sets of cards numbered "0" through "9", as well as the cards "Skip", "Reverse" and "Draw Two".2. In addition to the cards of the four suits, there are two sets of wild cards: regular "Wild" cards and the dreaded "Wild Draw Four" cards.3. To begin play, each player begins with a score of zero. Looks like I've started a new fad.
I'm 13, and bought a pack of UNO cards and took them to school the next day. Oops (or maybe I should say YES!) because everyone wanted to play. I must have played ten games every single day so far, and my cards are still in high demand. It is not at all hard to learn, and still a ton of fun. I strongly recommend this game!

Great family fun!
Uno is a wonderful game for the whole family. It doesn't matter if you are all kids, or adults everyone will enjoy this game.I started playing Uno when I was in elementary school, during rainy recesses (which happens a lot in Seattle). It was a great game that get a lot of kids involved and helped to pass the time.Recently my family went on a trip and someone brought Uno with them. I hadn't played it for years, but I immediately got into the spirit of things, and was amazed to remember most of the rules. (Although it seems that everyone plays Uno a little differently) We spent hours each night around a table together, talking, having fun, and playing Uno. I don't think I have ever had so much fun with my family.I would recommend the game to anyone especially if they are looking for a way to create special family time.

A classic card game for all ages
Uno and Clue were the two games that my friends and I played constantly while we were growing up. We probably played UNO more often because it was more portable, was owned by more people and could be played by younger siblings. Uno is an entertaining and challenging game because the word cards (skip, reverse, wildcard,draw two, and the much coveted wildcard-draw 4) mean that play is constantly changing. It's similar to the game eights, but the use of colors rather than suites and the larger than normal cards make it easier for younger children to grasp. It is fun and addicting even for adults (who will also like the colors and large cards). I played it recently with my younger sister, who is eleven, her friend, and my roomates, who'd never played before. My roomates were hooked, I enjoyed it just as much as when I was in elementary school, and we were all beaten soundly by people half our age. Definitely a classic card game.

My 5 and 8 year old both like this game
Both of my kids (boy-5, girl-8) like to play this game, and so do I (the Mom). The only difficulty for my 5-year-old is that he has trouble holding the cards, so he puts them behind a box. Of the games we have, this is one of the most requested when I offer to play a game with them. It's similar to crazy 8s, but there are more types of special cards, which make it more fun.Other good features of the game: (1) It's short, typically 5-10 minutes. (2) The house rules that are included encourage you to make up your own variations. (3) Remembering to say "Uno" with only one card left is a fun twist.

GOOD FAMILY GAME
My family loves card games. This set of UNO cards are JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL GAME and that's why I purchased it. I don't like the new cards with directional arrows and symbols because we prefer words! When my son was very young, this game reinforced counting, colors, and waiting his turn. Sometimes we play UNO and whoever won 3 out of 5 games, got out of washing dishes (when dishwasher was broken).

Like the old sets!!! Yea!
I wanted to get my nephews Uno for their birthday, but was annoyed to see the new ones in stores without words, but with arrows and symbols!??! Did not buy, and when searching for an old set on Ebay, came across these. Yea! So glad the traditional version is available. Wish they'd stop changing a good thing.

Not What I Expected
I was a bit surprised when I opened the deck as when it say 40th Anniversary Edition, it means it. I thought it was going to be the same deck I used to play with in the '90s when I was growing up, but this edition goes back, well what 40 years? lol The color looks antique and totally old, but the cards are in fact brand new. It's not what I thought I was going to get, but it's way better than the newer versions they have today. I'm still pleased I bought this version over the current ones. This deck is probably what my dad grew up playing with lol Everything looks just like the 90's deck, only older, so really, not a bad deal at all.

I played uno at my friend's the first time and i love it ever since. Made the kids happy
The Uno cards were part of a Christmas gift back for a group of Little Sisters and Brothers they were all happy to receive the gifts. The price was right and the quality was good. Delivery was great it came in less then a week right on time since it was needed for an early December Christmas party.

BEST UNO CARDS EVER!
Once you play with these Uno cards you'll never want to go back to the paper ones again! Shuffling these cards is so much easier than the paper ones and the cards are shuffled better because they seperate much easier! They are slippery little devils to hold on to until you get the feel of them when shuffling. Everyone that has played with these cards at my home said they wouldn't use the original cards ever again!

If you are working with children in an office or in schools, I HIGHLY suggest spending the few extra dollars on this product over the paper cards. If you spread the cards out, you can spray them with lysol or wipe them down. Just one more way to stop germs from spreading!

Starter Set for Young Hands
I hesitated to introduce my children (7 and 5) to this childhood favorite after seeing what they did to ordinary playing cards, but I stumbled across this plastic card version and decided to give it a try. The results have been spectacular: my children absolutely LOVE the game, playing it obsessively, and have so far failed to damage a card!Defects? A rather surprising one. These particular cards are pierced for easy belt carry and come with a plastic clip of truly astonishing uselessness for that purpose. I cannot believe that the same minds that came up with a plastic Uno deck also came up with this all but useless belt clip. Its oddball shape makes it almost impossible to hold open and necessitates adding or removing the cards in twos and threes!My advice? If you plan to use this feature, take the cards down to your local camping supply or hardware store and find something easier to operate that fits the cards (quarter inch thickness or less with an...
