Works Perfectly in My Old Camera
Worked perfectly for my old Fujifilm camera from 2001. I swapped out my old 128MB card for this 2GB card and could take tons of pictures on my vacation at the 3M setting and never came close to filling it. I did not notice any speed improvement when taking pictures. The biggest factor in speed for me is the battery quality. Switching from cheap batteries to made a huge difference, especially when flash turned on due to power drain characteristics between pictures to charge up for flash again. So all that I saw was dramatically increased capacity (16X) which worked without a problem. I couldn't be more thrilled.Definitely go to the Olympus website or your camera's website and check picture card compatibility. The manual for my camera was out of date and only listed...

Excellent Mb/Cost Ratio For Less Than $14
Even though Wikipedia said the "xD" picture card is officially obsolete as of 2010, there are still many thousands and thousands of "Olympus and FujiFilm" cameras that these memory cards can be used in.We recently upgraded from our 7 year old FujiFilm FinePix A340 to a Canon PowerShot A3100IS because of the smaller factory installed 64Mb memory card.. and the limited number of pictures/movie length (along with having NO sound capabilities with the A340), that was limited on the A340.Instead of throwing our old FujiFilm camera away, I decided to use it as our bumming around/backup unit.. and as such, upgraded the camera's "firmware" to allow the use of the larger/faster "xD M+" card memory."Read/Write" speeds increased from the old 64Mb "M" memory of 1.3/5.. to that of the replaced "M+" memory of 3.75/6. Picture capacity and movie length increased from 33 pictures and less than 60 seconds of movies to that now being available of 4,264 pictures.. and...

Tons of space for little price
I bought this a few months ago and the space is amazing.Some people who ordered didn't do their research to see if the card was compatible with their cameras. So is not the cards fault.THe card works great and is fast.Great product

Great card
I have many Olympus XD cards and they have always been great. I have never had any prolems with any and this 2g one is amazing because of all of the pictures that it can hold... At 7.1 megapixels, it can hold over 1000 pictures.

Good for pics, Bad for video
One of the reasons we bought our new Olympus digital camera was to take simple video without carrying around a separate digital video camera. We bought this memory card, but never saw anywhere listed that you can only take 10 seconds of video at a time with a Type-M XD card. In fact, I had to dig deep into Olympus' site to find that information out. Now I have two XD cards, Type-M and Type-H. Would have been helpful to know prior. For normal pictures, however, works just fine. But if you want video, pony up for the more expensive Type-H card.

Great for the 1030SW
My girlfriend received an Olympus Stylus 1030SW for her birthday so I purchased her this card and a case to go along with it. Once the firmware was updated on the camera, this card allowed for unlimited 640x480x30FPS video capture. Spend the extra money for the M+. They're basically the same speed as more expensive xD H cards.

Good Chip
Works as expected. My camera needed the M+ card for extended video capture.My only complaint is that 2GB is the largest they come in. In this day and age, I'd expect at least 8GB or 16GB.

Absolutely NO problem.....
Bought this card from another web site but it is the exact same card. Have a card reader I got from [...]. Put card in, reads it just fine. Not a single problem with card on any level. I agree with previous comments made to purchaser who gave it 1 star. It sounds like you may have an eqpt. issue and read your camera's instruction book and understand how camera operates.In many cases, there have been such great advancements made in card technology that I go to the camera's web site routinely to see what new products my camera will and will not accept and how that changes the operations of the camera etc.Also I think I would have used a little common sense and taken some test photos first, put the card in the reader and made sure everything worked the way it was supposed to BEFORE I took the camera and a new card to a major family event and took hundreds of pictures....

Worthwhile choice if you own a Fuji or Olympus camera
Although these are theoretically not as fast as the "Type H" cards released a few years ago, I can't find much of a practical difference. The fact that they are definitely faster than "Type M" cards at almost the same price make them an excellent value.All folks here complaining the card does not work with their camera should first check compatibility of their model on the manufacturer's website.
