Great Yoga Bag
This is a great Yoga bag, I had seen so many reviews about the mat not fitting into the bag. This bag is perfect with room to spare and I can even get my gym outfit and towel in there with the mat. It has a special compartment for your phone, keys and wallet if you are carrying one! I love it!

Plenty of Room
The logo print on the front of the bag is very nice. There are three pockets which is great. In the back of the bag, there are two small pockets, one velcro and the other a zipper. On the velcro pocket, (if you have a couple of keys on your keychain) it ended up fitting just fine. I use the zipper pocket to hold my gym card/driver's license which fits perfectly. The big pocket in the front of the bag is nice too, which holds my gym towel. Although it is not big enough to put a bottle of water in, so I just ended up putting it in with my yoga mat which fits perfectly. The only complaint I have is that the shoulder strap is not adjustable. When carrying the bag over my shoulder, the strap is too big (gappy), too much room in which the bag moves around too much, so I end up just carrying it like a normal bag in my hand.

Roomy and easy to carry
I researched for a while before buying this bag. My main concern was that the strap was not adjustable and so would be uncomfortable to carry, and that it was white and would stain easily - I found both to be unfounded. Although it probably would be better with an adjustable strap - I am clumsy and keep hitting my fellow beings as I wander the streets - it is actually the perfect length and very handy on my bike (even when I have another bag underneath it fits great). In addition, it is super roomy and I can schlep all my stuff with me and I can even get some small shop-bought items squeezed in (save the environment style, i.e. no plastic shopping bags). it has a perfect little pouch for my iphone and another little zipped mini pocket for that one thing you need to get really quickly (I normally put my keys in there). The only real downside is the clasp on the front pouch is one of those loop through belts and a little unwieldy - I would have preferred a button, zip or velcro; but...

Best Yoga Bag for big mat!
I love this yoga bag! It is machine washable and therefore easy to clean. It also snaps fully open, so I can easily put my extra long, extra thick, sticky yoga mat in the bag. It's plenty big to toss my towel, tee, and water bottle on top of my oversized mat. Plus the outside, zippered pocket is great for keeping my keys, wallet and cell handy.

nice looking bag
This is a very nice bag and is sturdy. i bought a heavy yoga mat from another company and it fits in here just fine. its bigger than i thought. but beware that its not wide enough for the extra wide mats. check widths first. overall good product and i am satisfied.

Good bag
This is a good purchase. Its a bit of a snug fit for my 1/4 inch thick mat, but it works if the mat is rolled properly. I like the fact that it has a small pocket which can be used for items such as keys. I just wanted a no frills bag and this works really well.

Nice yoga mat bag
This yoga mat bag works well and it does hold the , although it's a bit of a tight squeeze getting the rolled-up mat into the bag. I like the bag's netted mesh panels that help to ventilate the bag interior, and the strap allows me to sling the bag comfortably over my shoulder for carrying.

Thicker mats and extra gear no problem
I ordered a different mat bag and had to return it because my slightly thicker than normal mat wouldn't fit. This one is great. I can fit my mat, yoga clothes easily in this bag, with room for a wallet, phone and bottle of water. It will also comfortably carry a regular thickness mat, two blocks and a strap - haven't tried the thicker mat/block combo yet. The bag is made of a durable canvas and has a zipper that runs the full length of the bag so you don't have to worry about the mat getting caught or bound up as you're putting it away. It also has a small outside pocket - big enough for my gym card, padlock, or a drivers license and some money, or maybe a small cell phone, but not for a wallet. I love this bag!

Yoga bag
This bag does exactly what I wanted it to do. It holds my oversize mat with ease and the zipper is just the right length. There is additional room in the bag for a water bottle, towel, etc. I also like the zippered pocket to safely store my keys and jewelry during yoga class. The cotton material is simple and nice to touch - without all the fuss and expense of fancier bags. It's perfect!

OK for beginners
The bag isn't horrible if you're a yoga beginner. I didn't find it to be all that big or sturdy. It's acurately described as cotton twill - like khaki pants. The zipper doesn't seem like it's up for heavy duty use. If you've just started yoga and don't go more than once a week or so then this bag is good for you. You don't need something too heavy duty. But if you're at the studio a few times a week and have an extra long mat and blanket (like me) this bag is neither large or sturdy enough. That said, when I returned the bag my refund was prompt and polite. Although the product wasn't for me, the customer service was positive.

Too Short for Standard Gaiam Yoga Mat
This bag is well made and has a cute design, but I have the standard purple Gaiam yoga mat and the bag is not long enough to close over the mat so the end sticks out. And since the bag is made out of 100% cotton, I'm nervous if the mat will fit at all after the first wash. It's still better than carrying my mat uncovered, but you'd think they'd have considered adding an extra inch or two of fabric so it would fit most mats. I'm a little disappointed.

Cute Bag!!
I was a little worried when I read the reviews for various Gaiam mat bags. It seems that a lot of people have trouble fitting their mats into the bag. I really liked the look of this bag, so I went ahead and got it. My Wai Lana yoga mat fits perfectly! I will say this, the bag is more of a natural color than white, but I've gotten a lot of compliments on it at the yoga studio where I practice. The pocket is also pretty big. It will hold your keys and ipod/cell phone with no problem. All in all, I've been very satisfied with this purchase.

Pretty Yoga Bag
This bag is very pretty and the coordinating mat is a lovely match. I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't quite fit the yoga mat. It may stretch over time, but it was a bit of a pain to get the bag closed over it. That being said, it is easy to carry, holds the mat, and looks quite lovely while doing so. If you own yoga bricks or other accessories, this bag will not fit them. It will fit a small wallet or cell phone in the front pocket, so this bag is ideal if you travel light!

A little small
I got this as a gift with a new yoga mat (extra-long) and the bag doesn't close at the top. The yoga mat must be too wide- so be careful if you use a larger mat.

strap is not adjustable
I love everything else from the design, color, compartments & size. The only problem is that the strap is not adjustable. Now every time when i carry i have to hold it on one side so it doesn't fall. I would appreciate if they can mention this on the product specification. I wouldn't consider buying if I had known.

Bag is too small for my mat.
This bag, although very well made and great color and design, was too short for my mat. I just purchased a Manduka regular sized mat and was extremely disappointed that it didn't fit in this bag.
