A well designed, fun game for the Kindle
Having raised hamsters as a kid, I couldn't resist trying "Hamster Habitat." It's very similar to the iOS game of Aqueduct, except instead of water flowing through pipes, it's hamsters running around between their cages and collecting snacks. I played Hamster Habitat on my Kindle 3 (now called the Kindle Keyboard) - I can't vouch for how well it will run on the newer touchscreen Kindles, although Amazon shows that it will run okay.The concept of Hamster Habitat is pretty simple: Using a limited supply of straight and curved tubing, connect the hamster cages to create a habitat. Excellent Path-based puzzle game.
In each puzzle, you'll need to connect hamsters to various treats, using a limited number of various pipes and tubes. The problems are more difficult than I thought they would be, especially at the higher levels.Games like or , and puzzles like (on Kindle) also use the mechanic of making connections with limited path pieces. The implementation here is quite good.Recommended.

Really fun book
We first checked this book out from the library, and my boys (ages 2 and 3) couldn't get enough. After renewing the book from the library several times it was clear we should just buy it. I can see them enjoying this book for years.The words are catchy and engaging ("Great day, grin day, build a car to win day") and the story is uniquely entertaining (A hot rod for a hamster? Who would think it would be so fun?). My boys like to say the words along with me and the race at the end is always greatly anticipated. They also like the "What would you choose?" parts where they can pick what they would want for a hot rod. I don't buy kids books unless I love them (or my kids do and I can tell it's a good book), and this one's a keeper.

Great book series
My 6 year old daughter is in 1st grade and loves this book series. She catches herself reading longer than the required time for her homework. I'm all for her being interested in reading and not just any reading but good stories for her age. I'm amazed she started reading these chapter books in Kindergarten. She also loves animals. There is also a series for colors (which we also have) and weather (which she's getting for Christmas).

This whole series is a wonderful series for 5 to 8 year old girls. Initially as a read aloud and then as in independent reader (grades 2 or 3). It is a mix of fantasy world and mystery, with two young adventurous girls. My daughter has loved every single one we've been able to put our hands on (over 30 so far). Lots of fun!

a delightful surprise
This book was a delightful surprise. Nothing dry about it. Whimsical and colorful and fun to read. My five year old granddaughter loves it and reads it often. It made a nice addition to the other more serious books on the care of hamsters. Probably the best recommendation is that she brought it to school for "Sharing" and also chose to include it in her stash of four books for her long plane trip.

Buy a Hamster

As part of my agreement to buy a hamster, my 8 year old daughter had to save enough money to buy the hamster and pay for part of the equipment we had to buy. So far things are going pretty well, with the exception of the “Great Hamster Escape” that we had a few nights ago. I will admit there was a small part of me that hoped she’d fail simply because I REALLY didn’t want to have a hamster in the house. I haven’t actually calculated the total amount of money we’ve spent on the hamster so far, but with the bag my wife brought home tonight, I can tell you we are solidly over $100 in expenses. I’m very proud of her for sticking to her goal and diligently saving for her hamster.

As for advertising make sure that you KNOW FOR SURE that there are people who you KNOW will buy a hamster before you breed them. To decide on the species find out what is popular, maybe the always favorite teddy bear hamster or a dwarf hamster. I have two shops that will buy all the extra hamsters I have available. Only one breed hamster or two pairs to get a feel for how many babies you’ll actually be selling. Syrians are prone to Wettail and dwarf hamsters are prone to diabetes…. But, I only sell to shops that wont breed in the store, stores that keep separate cages for males and females, as well as keep my stock separate for animals that come from other sources. The amount of money you have to invest in cages, equipment and breeding stock is pretty much lost once you buy it, consider that your cost of having them as pets. Now, to your question, Depending on the # of cages you’ll need to fill I would recommend buying things like mulch / bark bedding / food in bulk and at a place like Sam’s Club or Costco.

Bites signs mean that the hamsters has some altercations because they were kept in a small cage or just cause one hamster is more aggressive. * Go hamster shopping late in the evening to see the little hamster in action. If the pet shop assistant tells you that this is due to the bedding and to the fact that the hamster didn’t Itter himself well, leave the pet shop because this is a big sign of ignorance from them. After you make sure that the hamster youintend to buy has no health problems, pick him up, put it on a table and see how he reacts. * If you can do this, buy from a breeder to avoid any problems with your hamster’s health. Heading for the store to buy a hamster. Look at his cage mate: If the otherhamsters show signs of sickness or are aggressive, go to the next pet shop on your list because it’s most likely that the hamster you liked has the same problems.
